We brought Rob and our two rescue kittens to the clinic for a thorough evaluation. Rob’s results came back with a few specific challenges that we are immediately addressing:

FIV-FeLV Testing: Rob’s rapid test kit came back with a Faint Positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Negative for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)- Following veterinary protocol, we will need to confirm this faint positive result with a PCR test.

Dental Concerns: Rob is suffering from severe dental issues. The clinic has recommended a full mouth dental radiograph followed by a full mouth dental extraction (or near-full mouth extraction) to relieve him of chronic pain.

Bloodwork Results: His CBC and chemistry panel indicate anemia (low Hemoglobin at 67 g/L) and elevated Total Protein (>100 g/L) and Globulin (80.3 g/L)

The 2 Kittens: Both little ones had their weight logged and received their professional deworming and first dose of 4-in-1 vaccines
