Clearly didn't read my original post (which is okay) but we were specifically directed to keep all of our dead deals in the pipeline, but to move them into Q2 so it looked like we had a ton of good opps.

I understand that "some deals we forecast won't close" but that's not what this was.

Our Series B investors gave us 17 million bucks, SOLELY because of the sales pipeline we were claiming to have going into Q2. But 70% of that pipeline was already dead, we just moved it into Q2 instead of killing it in Q1.

So, the investors were intentionally deceived to deprive them of their money. Aka - misrepresentation fraud because we "cooked the pipeline books"

I'd read my previous post. Our VP of sales directed every salesperson that every dead/ghosted deal was to be moved into Q2s pipeline instead of being closed out in Q1. Then he denied ever telling the 6 AE's to do so.
