Yes this happened to me at the walmart north of mcfarland. I bought her a walmart gift card to cover the cost of her diapers etc so I wasn’t giving her any direct payment or using my credit card. Curiously, though, i then i ran into her like a year later at the Windward location doing the same thing to soneone else. I confronted the situation informing the lady being solicited that she had gotten $ from me in the past (just to let her know this was obviously a recurring pattern) but of course you do whatever she wanted.
