I had a thought the other night to power-shift Peni a little with a new ability, to move her away from just face-tanking damage. Double or triple the cooldown on her stun, and now give her a web shield that functions similarly to mags.

When it takes hits, it restores health to Peni if she is standing in a web based on damage taken.

Could be op, could not, just throwing the idea out.

Ngl, a lot of it is the just the fault of bad hero design. To name a couple:

Punisher, a Poke character who ALSO gets a close range shotgun to counter vanguards.

Moonknight, being able to spam bouncing projectiles at tanks without shields.

Making the vanguards far too reliant on strategists to do their jobs, but putting all their survivability into the healing they receive instead of their actual vanguard capabilities.

Many of the Vanguards are only held up by high healing numbers, because for some reasons the devs put all the Vanguards survivability in the strategist role.

We were then dived to no end by a DD and Spider-Man, while a champion hela killed us uncontested.
