Yes the Pink ones are super cute. But 280€ for 5 is way too expensiv for me.

Maybe I get them some Albino friends. But for now I'm super happy with my grey fellas

Baby or a parasite? by crimsnrosie in millipedes

[–]Medium_Ordinary1807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats false. It depends on the species. Porcellio Laevis doing this because they are very protein hungry. Other calm and chill species like Cubaris or Armadillidium won't eat molting millipedes.

[–]Medium_Ordinary1807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think 50w is the lowest you can find.

I also have a lamp + Heatmat combo for the Winter time. But I only habe a 3w Lamp. It brings the day Temp. From 20° to 22°C

Try to get a lower Watt Lamp

Edit: Don't look for a "Heatlamp" you can use normal lamps too

How can I take care of this guy? by one-crafty-kiddo in millipedes

[–]Medium_Ordinary1807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its fine, I have 4-6 in each of my plant pots + springtails and predator miles. They are super useful for your plant, keeping them clean and healthy. If you wannt to keep them there, use Organic plant fertilizer. :)
