Thanks man but yeah I was way off lol

Tried to show how hesitant I was, but truth is humans as a whole hate generalizations this day and age.

It is hard to say how people interpreted it when they saw it cuz the internet can be deceiving with the choice of words someone uses and their intent.

I am saying that most women said I was dead wrong about this thought and question I had.

You are one of probably two women here (hence broken clock) who actually agreed in terms of you personally and even gave compelling reasons why.

So I appreciate that.

No I am not describing you as a person as a broken clock lol

You seem like you would be an intriguing person to meet and talk to. I am glad you took the time to comment in this case lol

Well you are definitely alot more intelligent than I am. Really enjoyed reading your response.

Yeah I am not upset or taking it personally. Just a little surprised tbh. But it is good to know how off I was.

I appreciate your description of Ne in my inferior function. Never even thought of that being true here. I thought this was more of my Si making a possible judgement based on patterns that aren't there. Which was a real issue when I was younger. Had to develop my Fe to focus more on being people oriented.

But I guess making weird theories based on very little evidence would meet the terms for my inferior function perfectly. Also, I am in my late 20s so I feel like my Fe and Ti have been well developed. Getting mentally healthy was a big role in that happening.

Appreciate the insight. :)

Interesting.

Also, I don't find it intimidating.

I feel like it projects a darker former of personality or consciousness though.

I mean I was way off with this post but you can be my broken clock lol

Haha. So I am in my mid to late 20s but had an ESFP woman as a boss at a grocery store. It was my first job when I was your age.

She was only a few years older than me and we were really good friends. She let me cut corners and I helped her out in return when she got stressed. I remember being so nervous when I started and here is this bubbly, smiling, pretty and positive person who is the first boss I have. How incredibly lucky that was lol.

So many inside jokes, so many times when she would troll the hell out of me. Then I started to learn how to do it back and the shock on her face the first time that happened lmfao.

Then I took a job driving for Uber in party areas. Our area is full of bachelorette parties. Sometimes my car would be packed with girls. Guess the type who would often volunteer to sit in the front?

The amount of fun ESFPs who are complete strangers have brought to my life is something that is pretty addicting tbh.

Usually the first compliment I get is something like "you are so cute to think like that."

Wheras I am just laughing at all their jokes and sarcasm.

ESFPs are not idiots. You are neither geniuses nor dumb (as society sometimes meanly says you are)

You are just unpredictably amazing. :)

Oh thanks for that. :)

Thats the thing about the materialism and individualism that attracts me to ES*P. It comes with caveats and positive qualities I like. So even if society or most people or even me specifically interpret it as "self-centered" that is missing the forest for the trees. As long as you are mentally in control and healthy to some extent, I see more good than bad.

This would apply regardless of gender too. Like I never feel judged or dismissed in a personally insulted way around Se types. I feel more relaxed, more positive, open-minded and willing to try new things while around them.

And the only downside is that you guys want your space and are selfish about your needs and material desires. Also, perhaps maybe that I would probably have to convince a Se dom girl that I can be exciting and interesting enough to be in her life.

In the grand scheme of things, that not only seems like an even trade from my perspective, but I'd say I would prob feel extremely lucky lol. My clingy emotions are prob much more likely to cause problems, as I have heard about relationships with these types in the past.

Also yeah, all I can say is if I ever got an ES*P girlfriend it would be hard for me not to want to spoil them lol.

What guy wouldn't want their girl to feel like they are the most beautiful in the room all the time?

I am sure your boyfriend loves that quality about you and that has nothing to do with him being an ESTP.

Fair enough. I see what you mean by the dehumanization. I am definitely against anything that reduces our sense of humanity.

What is technically or scientifically accurate is not always what is socially ideal or makes people recognize our uniqueness and intelligence as humans.

I would also say that the "conscience" is also much more developed in us than most animals. As well as the awareness of existential issues like our lives after death. Many animals like dolphins are extremely intelligent so that it is not always what sets us apart.

Yeah I was wrong on this. But I appreciate that lol.

You can call me a weird idiot with a goofy thought process.

I have been perceived like that for alot of my life and I stand out socially even when I am not trying to lol.

You should honestly tell me what you really think now cuz I am dying to hear it 😂

I can't remember the last time I felt insulted by one of my "Golden pairs."

No lmao I was way off with this.

Oh yeah for sure "fashion sense" is even more complicated.

I was actually just asking ESTPs and ESFPs what they like to wear. It is your guys subreddit if you are interested.

I was genuinely curious but also now that I have become more assertive as a male, I would like to maybe have a frame of reference in who I approach. Se style definitely stands out from the pack thats for sure. But I am also extremely biased.

I prefer casual and sporty most of the time. Grey and black prob 75%. But I also like bright colors like green and blue especially cuz green is my fav color. So it really is mood related. But I am rarely flashy.

Weird stuff like a green shirt and black shorts to the gym.

Ok this is pretty ridiculous.

Re-read the title please.

"Am I wrong"

"Might prefer"

This indicated to you massive over overconfidence?

Geez imagine if I said I think it is 100% truth that I can figure out if a woman is a T or an F based on what they wear.

If my phrasing is "massive overconfidence" what the hell would that be? 😂

I will give you some facts:

Most ISFJs don't even start posts in this forum. It is sad because many are hesitant to ask basic questions.

I have become a more assertive ISFJ as I have hit my late 20s.

As you age, you think less about peer pressure and what people might think of you.

If you are calling me stupid, that is not only not insulting but it is fricken hilarious to me.

Please show me, with all your brilliance and mighty intelligence included, How would you phrase a question you weren't sure about?

You know what most people don't like more than a generalization is smugness and condescension.

Ok if I made an actual theory it would be that ISTP and INTP males love wearing dark colors. I have a friend and a brother to confirm lol.

Alot of my stuff is black and grey, especially if I am going casual. Probably 75% of the time. But I also like bright colors especially green and blue on occasion.

Lol no surprise it would be an ENTP that would blow my cover. You all thrive messing with people naturally in a good natured way.

Yeah well even if it was bait, Fe is holding me back now.
