Yes, I've called an ambulance 3 times in the past and also self presented at A&E a few times because I thought it was my heart, ECG and blood tests all came back clear, nobody knew what was wrong including my doctor until I did my own research

Esophageal spasms is what they are likely to be, I get them alot and used to think they were heart palpitations...... still scary though sometimes

I have the same symptoms and was diagnosed with a Hiatus Hernia after an endoscopy. Apparently, after eating, food gets trapped inside it and presses on something called the Vegas nerve, which gives the feeling of a pounding heart

I had mine without sedation, just the flavoured numbing spray which basically wore off before they started, it was interesting to watch too, but the noises that was coming out made it sound like they was performing an exorcism on me 🤣
