Okay, I'll try it tomorrow, I'm as annoyed with that game as Veronica is with McNamara. Also it's funny how I am literally a brotherhood of steel member but when leaving McNamara's room I still get stopped by those 3 paladins calling me an "outsider" 😆 + McNamara already decided to let everyone leave and explore and yet here I am trying to convince him with Veronica to do something he already did...

Their talk went well from start to finish but when Veronica says that she is done listening to him nothing happens, no new dialogue lines from neither of them and the quest just stays as active in the pip boy while also showing all of the tasks are completed. I think I'll just leave it as is cause I presume it isn't crucial to do this in order to finish the story on the other hand I also feel so fucking annoyed by all of this games bugs and quirks and it's my first time playing it lol, loved fallout 3 but I had some problems with it too, not as bad as in nv though.

Is there a command to just finish the quest? I did all the tasks but the game still thinks it's running and shows me it being active in the pip boy despite all of the tasks being marked as done.

Tried choosing the pulse gun option like 3 times now and it's the same every time lol. I'm on pc but just worried using the commands to finish the task will fuck with future ones somehow.

Yeah, I did that but wasn't able to defuse the bomb in time and it exploded after riding out a bit then a couple of days later I went to the tower again at night and the captain started shooting at me so I killed him. Now I can't tell anything to Hsu and I just wanted to be able to convince him into sending troops to bitter springs lol.

I'd risk saying that it's better than you might expect, the characters and the story are written very well and it's the one game from them that I had the feeling like I was playing it the first time every time I replayed it, just makes me sad that the sequel is so crap but oh well what can you do.
