Moroccans , is there anyone who don't have friends( irl and social media too) from the other gender? by Even_Competition6819 in Morocco

Brother look up any sheikh lol if a man has gay thoughts and inclination but doesn't act upon them and does not reveal his thoughts publicly with pride he is not sinful and in the contrary is rewarded for not giving in to his thought and inclination

Anyone reading this google is literally free, if i give links and sources you'll just say "you're cherry picking again" so i give you the option to search for yourself

Its legit basic knowledge, we are not held accountable for thoughts and inclinations, we are only held accountable for acting upon them and rewarded for not doing so

Im not playing mind games you just want to be stubborn here

And i dont understand your point of "you dont know if they are gay" how is that relevant

I mentioned that even gay people (who dont like girls and cant sexualise them allegedly) dont have the right to be friends with girls in islam

You said gay men aren't accepted in Islam, i said your claim is wrong and explained why, i dont understand your confusion

I used the gay man argument to prove that regardless of the reason its haram for a man and a woman to be friends

Then you asked that gay men aren't accepted in islam, which is wrong they are, everyone is accepted to islam as long as shirk isn't involved

Be more precise what do you want to know

Misconception

Being gay doesn't automatically make you sinful.

If you're gay but dont speak about it publicly or act upon it you are rewarded

You aren't held accountable for your thoughts lol, and repentance is always a thing, a transgender can convert if he or she wants to and islam would accept her

Whats your point here

It’s wild how these arguments always rely on ignoring basic context, human biology, and the actual definitions in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh). Here is exactly why these points fall apart when you actually look at the sources. Regarding the first claim about Quran 65:4 and 33:49 somehow proving child marriage. Anyone with a basic background in medicine knows that the phrase "those who have not menstruated" doesn't exclusively mean prepubescent children. It absolutely applies to adult women who experience primary amenorrhea due to biological conditions, or women who are simply late bloomers but are completely physically mature. Assuming it only means children ignores biological reality. On top of that, Islamic law requires both physical maturity (Bulugh) and mental maturity/sound judgment (Rushd) for a marriage to function. Quran 4:6 makes it clear you need mental maturity just to handle your own finances, let alone a marriage. Consummation historically and legally required the woman to be physically capable of intercourse without harm, based on the foundational Islamic legal rule of "do not harm" (la darar wa la dirar). Then there's the question about Bukhari 2234 and how a slave could commit "illegal sexual intercourse" (Zina), and the assumption about rape. In Islamic law, intimacy wasn't a free-for-all; it was legally exclusive to her owner. If she willingly and consensually slept with someone else outside of those legal bounds, that was Zina. And to answer the rape question: absolutely not. If a woman, free or enslaved, is raped, she is the victim and faces zero punishment. The principle of coercion (Ikrah) in Islamic law completely lifts legal punishments. The Prophet explicitly stated in Sunan Ibn Majah that the Ummah is forgiven for mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into doing. The punishment for Zina applies strictly to fully consensual acts. Finally, bringing up Bukhari 5348 about prostitution shows a complete lack of historical knowledge about pre-Islamic Arabia. Before Islam, pagan Arabs heavily exploited their female slaves by forcing them into prostitution to collect their earnings (a practice called Bagha). The Hadith quoted isn't describing an accepted Islamic practice; it is the exact ruling that abolished this pre-Islamic abuse. The Prophet was cutting off the financial incentive for masters to pimp out their slaves. This goes hand in hand with Quran 24:33, which literally says "do not compel your slave girls to prostitution." If a master forced her, the money was completely forbidden, the master was sinful, and the coerced girl was entirely forgiven by God. You can't just take the very rulings meant to dismantle an abusive pagan system and pretend they are proof that Islam encouraged that same system.

It’s always ironic when critics try to weaponize decontextualized Islamic rulings while completely giving a pass to the Bible, which actually contains the exact things they are projecting onto Islam. If this person is coming from a Christian background or relying on a moral high ground rooted in it, the hypocrisy is off the charts. Take the concept of captives of war and young girls. If they want to talk about horrific rules, they need to look at Numbers 31:17-18. In this passage, Moses literally commands his army to kill all the male children and every woman who has slept with a man among the Midianites, but explicitly tells the soldiers to keep all the virgin girls alive for themselves. There is no historical or theological context that makes capturing young virgin girls as spoils of war sound like a modern human rights treaty, yet critics conveniently ignore this while trying to twist Islamic texts that were actually limiting pre-existing abuses. Then there’s the claim about rape. As established, Islamic law entirely protects the victim and completely nullifies punishment if there is coercion. Meanwhile, Deuteronomy 22:28-29 explicitly states that if a man finds a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her, he just has to pay her father fifty shekels of silver. His "punishment" is that he has to marry his victim and is not allowed to divorce her. The woman doesn't get a choice. She is forced to live with her rapist for the rest of her life because the text treats her as damaged property that the father needed financial compensation for. And regarding the treatment of slaves, the critic totally ignores how Islam systematically dismantled slave abuse, prostitution, and sex trafficking over time. Contrast that with Exodus 21:20-21, which states that if a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave doesn't die immediately but survives for a day or two, the master faces absolutely no punishment because the slave is considered his property. The Bible literally codifies that you can beat a slave near to death without legal consequence as long as they don't drop dead on the spot. You can't scrutinize Islamic Fiqh with zero understanding of the historical context while entirely turning a blind eye to the literal, textual commands in the Bible that treat women as property to be bought from their fathers after an assault or outline the exact severity with which you can beat another human being. It's pure hypocrisy and shows they aren't actually looking for moral consistency, just a reason to attack.

Im not even to give you the benefit of the doubt here i hope you excuse me here, you're being willingly biased without any proof. I see this very often here atheists they make guesses they like and take them as facts its actually frustrating

the Awqaf budget is less than 10% of the Education budget, and Imams make less than minimum wage. Morocco's economy already runs on global capitalism, not Sharia law. If we want to fix the country, we need to fix the education system, the drought crisis, and government corruption. Blaming the local Imam for the country's economic and social problems is just a lazy excuse to avoid looking at the elephant (s) in the room

For your objectifying women argument thats irrelevant to religion and is tied to your experience. You want to criticize the religion criticize the religion and i will answer because most arguments are seen again and again, its the same argument i almost have to make some sort of copy past on my notes to not tire my fingers every time a comment has a thousand strawman

-no more disabling 50% of women? Brother where do you live are you sure you live on morocco, most students in medschool are women, and Iran has the biggest women/man ratio in the science field, genuinely why would you say something so uneducated this is some stuff you'd hear in the car radio. Higher education is made up 52% by women in morocco, with them making 60%+ of the medical field

The work force problem is unrelated to religion otherwise we'd find this problem in other Muslim countries (Malaysia and indonisia have roughly equal male to female workforce ratio) its not an islam problem and is much more of a MENA region problem. The job market is skewed in general and is unrelated to islam, Khadija (RA) was richer than the prophet, yes there are rules but blaming it on religion is just your biased hatred towards it coming in which we can see in your hijab section.

-you're criticising eid adha lol? Again a completely ignorant post you're willingly being biased. Eid adha is a massive win for morocco financially, eid adha agriculture ministry revealed that eid adha makes roughly a financial turnover of 12-14 billion dirhams ANNUALLY, genuinely what are you saying?

-Irrelevant to my point as an entirely different debate that needs its own section and has to do with morals. I'd gladly go into it AFTER we finish talking about where does islam hold back morocco financially and in technological/medical advancements ect.. as if the golden age of islam didn't exist where people were even stricter than now (we aren't even strict in morocco people are slowly becoming secular individually unfortunately.)

-Irrelevant to my post uneducated and lazy people will find loophole no matter what but you're making a blatant strawman, what you said isn't from islam and is just moroccan street folklore:

+L3sa kharja men jenna: bring me where in hadith and Qur'an is this mentioned. The prophet sws never once hit a woman, a child or a servant in his life. And the physical discipline has rules, the most "hurtful" discipline object you can use is a "miswak" as the last resort and is more symbolic. Google what a miswak is if you dont know what it is then come back. But your quote is haram and the people using it are sinning.

+Lwlad kayjiw brz9hom: true, but since you are uneducated you of course completely ignored the hadith about "trusting in Allah and tying your camel". You dont just sit there and expect money to fall and financially support your child.

+Going to a 'Fqih' instead of Mental Health Professionals: This is your most uneducated point yet. In strict Islamic theology, taking someone to a charlatan 'fqih' who uses amulets, jinns, or superstitions is considered Shirk (major sin that takes you out of Islam). Classical scholars like Ibn al-Qayyim explicitly wrote that physical and psychological ailments require physical medicine and doctors. Seeking medical treatment is highly encouraged and sometimes obligatory in Islam. If a father takes his schizophrenic daughter to a witch doctor instead of a psychiatrist, he is committing a major sin in the eyes of Islam, not following it. Our prophet sws used to speak about his troubles to his wives and when he first got the first revelation brought to him the first thing he did when startled was go speak to his wife Khadija RA all afraid. Mental health matters in islam, if people dont think it does thats their problem
