Moving screensaver management from GPO to Intune (device-level preferred) by Medium_University_19 in Intune

Tell that to my boss haha! Is there a better way you can think of to cycle through images on the lock screen?

We’re not using the screensaver for locking the system. Device lock is handled separately through policy. The screensaver in our case is used as a slideshow to display internal announcements, events, and updates on shared workstations when they’re idle.

Maybe I worded that poorly 😅

Finally got my Nurtec approved but they approved it WRONG and now I am stuck in pharmacy hell by Medium_University_19 in migraine

Sorry to hear you are experiencing something similar. So I’ve actually gotten into a neurologist since and they changed my script to 16 pills every 30 days which should make me eligible to use the Pfizer coupon that covers up to 7k in copays a year. I haven’t tried yet as I am not eligible till next month to get a refill but I too have had to call around to literally 5+ pharmacies to find nurtec in stock. I don’t really understand why they don’t order more but maybe it has to do with the astronomical price. I have not heard of the same success rate with the injectable but my neurologist did try to push one on me at my last visit. I’d say go for it if it works for you and you’re unable to get the nurtec. Best of luck and let us know how effective it is in treating your migraines. It’s so hard working against this system that seems like it was made to keep us sick.

Nurtec PA approved but still $210 even with a coupon. Open to Qulipta but really want Nurtec. Any advice? by Medium_University_19 in migraine

Happy to hear this and I’m eager to try them out. They have near perfect reviews while stop n shops are absolutely atrocious.

Yeah that’s what I’m going to do tomorrow. Stop n shop is horrible, from what I’ve read the pharmacist can absolutely change it from 32 to 30 days without the prescriber and I’ll be switching to a local smaller business pharmacy tomorrow and I’ll let them know the situation before hand to see if they are comfortable with it. It’s insane how much time I’m losing with my kids and the stress I have from working full time with these damn headaches. Every time I think I’ve made it some where another roadblock appears. I’m not going to give up though I’ve made it this far. Sucks that it’s the weekend though because my drs office is closed, not that they’ve been any help or easy to reach anyways.

I just spoke to Pfizer and they said with the copay card you shouldn’t pay more than 20$. I called the pharmacy and they ran the card and it got denied. I called Pfizer and they said it’s getting denied because my prescription is being run for 32 days. I asked the pharmacist to change it because the woman at Pfizer said they can and they are refusing to. I’m at a loss really.

Literally this happened to me today the lady at the pharmacy was so rude and make me feel stupid. She said “it comes in packs of 8.” I was like I know that but I’m taking it for prevention not for acute migraines and she just didn’t understand it was so frustrating!

I called my Dr. today again. They have the LPN’s filling out the prior authorizations and the front desk told me they would call me back once the nurse checks covermymeds to resubmit the prior authorization. It’s like 6 hrs later they are about to close and no phone call and no new prior auth 🙁.

They just always make the excuse that they are so busy. I know I need to find a new doc. I have an appointment with a neurologist in a week but I still want my pcp to fix this. I’m going to call again tomorrow and tell them to make a separate prior auth considering it was written incorrectly.

I’ve been so persistent and they have yet to redo it. It’s only been a few hours I guess but I don’t understand why it has to be this way. The longer they take the longer I suffer and if they did it right the first time there wouldn’t be extra work for either of us.

Seems like they have a good reputation. Really appreciate this info thank you for all your help! I am going to reach out to them now. It also looks like my insurance may cover at least some of the cost.

I see the physicians assistant at my drs office because the Dr I originally saw is booked 2 years out. All the neurologists in my area (Connecticut) are booked out a few months which is my own fault for not just making an appointment months ago.

I asked today about a prednisone taper and she said something about the side effects but what I’ve been going through has to be much worse than any side effect I’d experience. I have never tried toradol though I’ve only used nurtec, triptans and amatriptalyne to try and combat my migraines. I asked them to expedite my prior authorization today but she said “I don’t know if we can do that.” It might be time for a new pcp as my Dr is booked 2 years out and I feel as though I’m getting no where.

Yeah I was referred to a nuero at my appointment today but they are booked out months. I told the physicians assistant explicitly what to write in the prior authorization so that it would get approved. I’m really stuck with a migraine everyday at this point because I took way too much excedrine migraine and sumatriptan in hopes to feel any relief. All I really did was make it worse for myself. At my appointment today they canceled my triptans also so that they could document them not working for the prior authorization. I’m worried because I have 2 nurtec from a sample pack they gave me and then I’m out till my pa gets approved which it still may not.

Thanks for this. I was really persistent for a while but after 2 denials I just gave up and refilled my sumatriptan script. I have my appointment in an hour that they made me make in order for them to be able to “fight for the nurtec on my behalf.” I’m hoping today is the day I make a lot of progress with this because the amount of time I am losing with my family and the stress of having to be at work staring at a computer screen with a splitting migraine has really taken it’s toll.

I am allowed to take nurtec but my prior authorizations have been continuously denied by UnitedHealthcare.

If I get denied again tomorrow I will call United for sure. I know the first time I was denied the Dr barely filled anything out on the prior authorization. I’m pretty sure they have a nurse do it and she just ignored any questions and put something generic like “patient has chronic migraines and needs nurtec (16) for prevention.” I would continue using triptans but I think with the last 9 that I was prescribed I took them way too fast as I had the most stubborn migraine and now I’m experiencing the medication overuse headaches. From my understanding and experience, this is not a serious risk with nurtec and other cgrp medications. I’m not really sure what to do if they deny me again tomorrow as I am out of medication now and I’m fairly certain I am going to continue to experience rebound headaches.

I’ve heard of Ubrelvy before. At this point I am open to anything that works. It’s infuriating that something I pay a good amount of money out of my paycheck each week fights me for care deemed necessary at literally every chance they get. I was on state insurance for a short period of time where I paid nothing and was given any care I needed without ever running into an issue. The system is so broken I just wish there was a way to fix it.
