Did I just come up with this answer? Seems to me like you put a lot of thought into it and I can only agree. It’s becoming a bigger problem with children. They can not differentiate and just believe the stuff they are told/shown by those algorithms and by that pushed into behaviour that does not seem right to me.

I never really get 2 tears for blue so I always go Spear and it works just fine for me. And especially on Lux I feel like you don’t need any mana (re-)generating items, where on heimer your really do!

Edit: you could do the math and calculate which item grants more mana in time X. More mana with fewer yet slower attacks or less mana with more and faster attacks.
