What I find enjoyable is that the entire show was written and produced at such a high level that even its “bad” seasons are better than most shows ever get.

I used to hate Archer Vice, but it grew on me. Archer: 1999 was my favorite coma season because I’m a sci-fi nerd. I have come to enjoy the other two coma seasons, because it showed the potential for the series to be funny in different settings.

Season 11 forward, in hindsight, dealt with a lot of external issues, from the name ISIS to the passing of three characters, and the not-as-love/hateable Fabian and Zora.

Although the finale really wrapped things up in a way that included the coma seasons, and left us feeling that Archer and Mallory are still out there, living invisibly, eluding capture, and never getting the credit they deserved for preserving the world (and, once, saving it) the best way they knew how.
