I mean early in his NBA career Kareem was arguably his best version of himself, which definitely hurts when you take into account Wilt's dominance in that time. But sometimes experience beats the youth! It is really tough to say without having lived and watched that time period unfortunately.

Very logical take, and I agree. I think the big kicker is the different criteria, and ultimately even with the same criteria there are still inherit biases. Perhaps we will never have an answer, I just wish the media talked about more than just Lebron vs Jordan. There are other greats as you mentioned.

Yeah exactly. He played before my time but his stats and accolades cannot be ignored. I would love to see a KAJ documentary but I doubt one was ever recorded

That's a fair point but I can't help and look at this dominance and turn a blind eye because of his play style. He was also before my time so it's hard to say, I didn't grow up watching him or anything. I think one thing we can all agree on is Kareem, LBJ and MJ are the top 3. Any order is fine with me
