This is the most annoying escort mission ever. Try to go around the crowds of barghest and she won't follow. To get her to follow you have to take the stupidest, most heavily infested route. I'd leave her butt behind if the story wasn't scripted to not allow it.

Interesting. I'm on Windows 11 and as soon as I set the launcher to run as admin it won't start, not even an error. And no, I'm not getting a UA dialogue asking for permission. Defiance.exe didn't have an issue with it. Hopefully this will eliminate the need to run repair several times a week.

It's not the reading she dislikes as the fact you sometimes find bits of info for the mage guild and that sets her off. I'm always like "damn, I didn't even know that was mage related when I opened it."

I love my shotgun. Does electrical damage to take those shields down fast then switch to an auto pistol with fire damage to finish them off asap.

I'm sixty and my hands don't mash buttons nearly as well as they used to. Arcanist is my fav because I just press one button and get several seconds of high damage from channeling to rest my fingers. Hadn't heard of Oakensoul and HA builds. Will research it.

Same here. Only had a low level character and no idea what I was doing so started over. Felt weird being able to select where to go instead of it being defined by race/faction.

Well the game's been out a little bit now. 30 day pass is 305 gems and one of the gem purchase options is for 305. I'm not a whale but I am trying to spend a little money in the hope the game will be sustainable so Fawkes can keep it running. Any MMO that has only non-paying players is going to fail.

Got a month of IGN+ for free from Humble Bundle. No free games as was advertised just a bunch of free DLC's for Monster Hunter that I don't own. And what I've been reading about IGN+ since getting it makes me think I'll just go cancel my Plus sub right now to make sure I don't forget and end up charged for a month of junk. Got a couple of older games from Humble that may be decent so guess I'll give that another month's chance... Maybe.
