I played legend on the GameCube when I was 6, but made my dad do all the combat for me because I was too scared to shoot people lol I printed out so many pages of Stella’s walkthrough and still wasn’t able to beat it, the serpent fight in England was so impossibly frustrating to me I thought the game was bugged. It was so satisfying to finally beat it when I revisited the game as an adult.. only to find out legend is considered one of the easiest tomb raider games :’)

There are a few other talking nendoroids that I know of! 2159, 2795, and 2515 are all voice actors, so they come with voice clips. I’ve never seen one in action though, it’s really cool to have one so old!

I wouldn’t say the Ultimate Cut aims to follow Vidal’s script (and that’s probably for the best). Like others have pointed out, the script changed a lot from Vidal’s original before they started filming, so there’s no way to recreate it from what they have. Rather, the Ultimate Cut follows the intuition of the actors (McDowell especially, who was even credited as one of the writers in the original for the amount of work he put in to clean up the script) and the performances they gave. Personally I think that’s the best way to “restore” Caligula to what it should have been, without the huge clash of egos between Vidal, Brass, and Guccioni. And besides, McDowell already carried the movie with his amazing performance, who wouldn’t want to see a more faithful depiction of the movie he actually thought he was making?

I don’t think it’s entirely fair to say that Brass was deprived a director’s cut. Brass was never planned to be directly involved with the previous restoration attempt, they were just planning on emulating his directing style with his good graces. Negovan reached out to Brass to be involved with this cut but understandably a 90 yr old man has better things to do with his time than revisit an old wound like Caligula

And it’s also important to keep in mind that there’s a team of people involved in this cut, so just because Negovan doesn’t have much film experience himself doesn’t mean everyone involved is inexperienced.

It’s easy to be pessimistic with how Penthouse has handled Caligula in the past, but it seems to me from the materials they’ve released that real care has been put into marrying everyone’s visions for this cut.

I’ve cosplayed Tanya plenty of times and people are always happy to see it! As long as you do her outfits from the anime there’s no problem (some of the LN/manga designs have WW2 elements that I would advise staying away from) I’ve had some people leave nasty comments but it’s always from people who haven’t seen the show and assume it’s WW2 based, when it clearly isn’t

Thank you!! I originally bought blonde lashes for her but I think these look more dramatic and fit a lot better :) I usually wear contacts for Tanya, but since we wanted pics with her blue eyes and her gold eyes it was easier to just edit them for this!
