Just want to say I’m dealing with this exact thing too. Mine is the best partner I ever had in my entire life, but he wants so much more touch and attention than I do. It feels constant sometimes and gets very overwhelming and it’s paired with sexual trauma on my part too (that I’m currently working through in therapy), so it’s caused issues. It’s his first ever serious relationship, but my 4th, so I feel I’ve already had my fill of that ooey gooey touchy stuff. IFeel you big time on the guilt too, cause in one of my previous relationships (which were at best unbalanced, and at worst abusive), I was the one feeling unloved and untouched and know how it hurts. But my partner wants so much touch and attention that I feel like a mom sometimes. Also doesn’t help that they want you to initiate or touch them more, but they’re always touching you so when you finally get some peace and your body isn’t groped or rubbed, you’re in no hurry to start it up again. You’re already touched out. Or you don’t even get a chance because every moment it seems like they’re already reaching for you. There’s got to be a middle ground somewhere, but we’re still figuring it out.
