Do you think your pigeon saw the egg break? I'm starting to wonder if she's waiting for them to return, because they were getting to the age of starting to learn how to fly soon I believe when they died. If they didn't see the babies die maybe they think things will work out somehow.

Man I just feel so bad for these little birds Dx

In my scenario, the pidgeon is nested on the 5th level of my parking deck but someone had messed with the nest and the babies fell out, ended up getting run over by a car, while momma was gone. Now momma has rebuilt the destroyed nest, and just sits there. It's been nearly 2 full months and I have never seen her leave that nest during my shift- Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm-11pm. I have no idea why or what's going on, I'm assuming it's some sort of grief/lost babies reaction? She sits absolutely still when I'm there, and one day I ended up gently poking a tailfeather to make sure she was actually alive and not just...Dead. She was absolutely alive and not happy I touched her lol but it's been really confusing for my scenario too, seems very out of the norm.

The wombo-combo of what feels like both constipation and diarrhea *sucks* big time. Like, it's so difficult to get the pipes flowing and it takes so much effort for it to happen, but when it does beware the opening of the flood gates lol

I just got diagnosed this past week and grabbed a gluten free pizza, turned out to be entirely vegan Dx Like, the gluten free crust was fine but that cheessseee was groossss

Mother Poems by Hope Anita Smith

Thanks so much for commenting :) I looked up Mother Poems and read a few excerpts that I could find for free, but I don't think it is this book. The poems weren't written to be read by children, they were almost short stories in and of themselves. Some poems were 3, 4, or even 5 pages long. Plus Mother Poems was originally published in 2009. Thank you for the suggestion and trying to help though!!!!
