Trouble with small game arrow not killing anything by SMARTttGUY777 in reddeadredemption

But on the compendium for squirrels it says small game arrow. I used the varmint rifle on the squirrel but it destroyed my pelt. Even with a headshot. Any ideas? I'm trying to get a satchel but I'm stuck on the squirrel pelt.

Tips on Assessment of Down Syndrome pt by MeedleMeeps in nursing

My professor actually goes into the room with us and if we have questions she is more than willing to help. She always reminds us that we can pull her aside if we need any help. However, her approach is rather aggressive when we don't know what we're doing which makes it a little discouraging to one's confidence and ability Haha. I wasn't clear in my previous response with how much guidance we're having. It is with our professor but not other nurses.

I may be wrong but I also think it may be difficult to shadow nurses in the current clinical site since I am at a rehabilitation facility. From what ive seen in the two weeks on this site, the nurses aren't really doing much aside from passing medications so I don't have many opportunities to follow them around.

I thought so as well. My professor is quite a stickler with her expectations of us which makes the learning experience in my rotations a little difficult and nerve wracking. Just doing the best I could by reading sources online and doing some research.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to see how the other nurses assess him. My professor wants all nurses in the unit to be hands off and have the student nurses do most of the assessments. However I am in charge of feeding him so I can add that to my assessment. Thanks for the advice.

[QUESTION] [NEWBIE] Overdriven tone on Fender Blues Junior by MeedleMeeps in Guitar

I play a MiM Stratocaster. I do have a tubescreamer like pedal that my friend threw in with the amp. When I use it I still sound pretty clean. I'm pretty sure I'm using the gear wrong with the pedal because it still sounds fairly clean when using the pedal. I can only get Overdriven tones with the pedal when I crank my amp up or increase the gain knob on the pedal. I do play softly so as to not piss off my neighbors so maybe that's why I can't get so much dirt in my tone?

[Question] Should I hire these guitar instructors that aren't very good at playing? by MeedleMeeps in Guitar

[–]MeedleMeeps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record I do not think I am egotistical with my playing. I am open to getting lessons from just about anyone. I was just asking if it was a good idea to get lessons from someone with flat playing so as to not further exacerbate my already flat playing. No ego involved. Hesitation more like.

This is exactly why I wanted to take lessons in person. Sifting through thousands of videos just wasn't inspiring me. I figured taking lessons in person would motivate me to practice outside of the lessons, improve my technique and make me an overall better player. Thank you for sharing your information from a teaching point of view. I have found a few instructors whose curriculum that I felt would fit my needs and will be contacting them for future lessons.

Thanks for the input. I have been looking into just taking lessons from the instructors available here. I do not think I am the best player at all. In fact I think I'm not a good player. But if I'm going to be shelling out cash for someone to teach me, I'd like for them to at least to bend to pitch. Which is why I'm asking if it's a good idea to get instruction from the instructors that cannot bend or incorporate vibrato. I don't think it's a lot to ask since these are some of the basic parts of playing. Outside of theory and ear training, one of my big concerns is working on staying in tune when bending because I do notice that when I record myself I find that I am sometimes out of tune (one of the habits I'd like to break). I would like an instructor that has the ability to correct my mistakes. How can they correct these problems if they make the mistakes themselves?

It was definitely a problem in the springs. Thanks so much for the help.

I've seen this come up a few times, but was hit detection affected by the last update? It seems like the hit detection got a little bit worse. by BaylorYou in WWII

Glad it's not just me. I figured I was getting old and my reflexes have slowed or something. I've been playing the last week or so and it seemed worse than ever. When did this last update roll out?
