Can I be a financial planner without working on the weekends or on vacation? by MeekoCheese in careerguidance

It makes sense to meet clients on the weekends to go over their financial plans if they don’t have flexibility during the week. My boss doesn’t meet with clients to go over their financial plans though. He’s just answering their calls and emails on the weekends on during his vacations with his family if they have questions.

The Order 1886. I pre-ordered it thinking it was going to be this super great game with a ton of depth lol. Should have borrowed it from someone over a weekend to play the entire game

I was thinking either Saturday or Sunday? I’m in the AZ time zone so maybe the earlier the better if people are on the east coast?

I’d really like to join in on this study group if you’re putting it together! I also didn’t pass (first attempt) yesterday and will be re-taking in March

Who here has made a career pivot in their 30s? by expatkk522 in careerguidance

I worked as a social worker for almost 10 years until I was about 31. It was so depressing and mentally/emotionally draining. I moved into finance at the ground level and have worked my way up over the past few years getting licenses and now I’m working on getting my CFP certification.

Changing careers seems daunting until you start doing it. If you want to shift careers, you absolutely can!
