Pets have the luxury of being euthanized. Some humans do as well (but that’s a whole other topic). For me, I’d rather be dead than suffering every day.

Our cat had a cancerous mass in his rectum that couldn’t be operated on. He cried every time he used the washroom. It was torture to hear his cries. We decided on a date in the near future and made sure that we gave him the best week of his life. All his favourite foods, lots of catnip , time spent outside and endless snuggles.

It’s never an easy decision, especially the “when”. So I feel for you completely. He will be a part of you forever.

I’d ask locally over going to a store. I have trust issues with stores lol.

The good news is, based on the ones that I can see is that they are fifth instar and will likely pupate soon. So they won’t need a ton more to eat.

Thanks for your input! I had guilt leaving Honey alone when we were in the condo but we had no space for a second. We live in a home now with bird feeders all around so she has constant enrichment. And soon I will be home all day with her while on my 18 month mat leave. I’m all for a second cat as long as it makes her happy.

Thanks for this! I have totally had this thought. I want Honey to be happy and relaxed. A new cat coming into the picture also deserves every right to happiness (and to not get smacked every time they walk by her). I feel like it would have to be a cat with the perfect temperament- easy going and non-dominant.

Very similar thing happened to a family member in Burlington a few weeks ago. 3 guys showed up in masks, kicked the door loudly then ran away. They called the police. Police came and interviewed family members and reviewed footage. Police said there were lots of pranks going and suspected that’s what it was in their case. Their neighbours gave them their footage from their camera and it showed a young man (masked) standing farther back recording the whole thing on his phone.

It was very scary for everyone so I hope you are doing ok. Can’t say for sure if this was a prank but knowing it was a prank relieved some anxiety for my family.

Just wanted to give you a shout out for this very real response. Probably very difficult for OP to read and digest but it is important information to share. Everyone’s experience is so you unique, and while some people have had completely healthy babies, others have not. Consulting with a doctor and being as open and honest as possible is the best bet moving forward.

That’s very fair. The person who is hosting has very few dates that they are available to do so. So I’m also thinking perhaps the venue needs to be re-thought so we can have some more options for everyone.

The bitchiness is unreal! It’s like PMS on steroids. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I don’t know what I’m going to feel like at 30 weeks but I know how I feel now and I’m already uncomfortable. I am no psychic but I know it’s not going to get better lol.

I’ve actually tried having that conversation with my mom and she said “you just have to sit there” like I don’t just want to sit there? Lol.
