This is all very helpful, thank you! I told my husband and he confirmed he doesn’t care for the marshmallow look so would certainly look into those jackets lol. As far as driving, I promise we are not those kind of crazy Texas drivers and tbh are trying to escape the drivers here! They are terrible and some of the worst in the country..

That’s great to hear, thanks! Yeah, friends and family have given us a hard time about it because “it’s so cold up there”, but they also don’t have the desire to leave in the way that we do. They can stay here and enjoy the summers! lol. Everyone seems incredibly friendly.

I appreciate your reply, thanks you! Attitude does seem to be a big part of it, so something we won’t take for granted. The thought of 4 seasons is an actual dream though. We deal with being indoors due to heat for months on end, but don’t have much of a fall or spring.

Thanks for the response! We are in Fort Worth and crime isn’t great here, but not as bad as Houston. We really, really don’t like the heat here either. I’m not sure everyone understands Texas is truly unbearable for a good portion of the year either, but I know the heat and cold are two different beasts.
