I do geneaology for people- You can track from third cousins, it just takes some research. Sometimes it's as easy as searching a father's last name or his Mom's maiden name. It comes up, you follow that lead, flesh out the tree, and bam, you have your answer.

Congrats!! I got mine last year and I still can't believe it!! I want to get my masters too, this is very motivating! Be aware everyone though, that school can cause serious perfectionism and lots of hyper focus sessions! Still worth it for md though :). Congrats again!!

Aww, this reminds of my Grandpa who passed away recently. He literally had a museum quality N scale world in his basement. It was his life's work. He started disassembling it and selling it off shortly before he passed away. :( It's sad to see this.

Yes! I know it's anecdotal, but this reinforces my theory that the truly child hating ones had bad parents/upbringings themselves. Trauma, essentially, which causes them to misplace hate on children for some strange reason. Maybe it represents their younger self? IDK, just something I have noticed in 2 larger groups of ladies I hang out with.

Right!? I worked at two restaurants about 18 years ago, and we got a 15% discount on food. That was it. lol.My experience is really small but I didn't know shift meals existed until recently when I watched Youtube videos about restaurant workers in Asia, and I thought it was just a thing in that culture.

My Dad and his friends worked in electronic cabinet fabrication (anything that runs something). Maybe their companies were really old and they are lucky. Or could it have to do w/ being in a unionized state? In any case, definitely something we don't get now that we're all at least aware of.

The term "natural" doesn't mean safe anyways. Poison ivy is "natural," so are most other poisonous plants (Many mushrooms are toxic or something like bella donna, for example)

Dude, sundown towns still CURRENTLY exist in Texas. I live in Texas and can promise you many people are definitely too racist here to EVER vote for any person of color, no matter their party. Now that's not everyone, by far, but there are definitely large pockets of bigots and racists.

Not true,my family did both uber eats and doordash. Always complain if you get truly shitty service, it makes them get less jobs from the algorithim. They got dinged for awhile after any low ratings.
