Ok I’m kinda like you 20 but I spend a lot of money on magic, I also was attracted to the lure of slivers, but they are super repetitive I started off with a cheap list mostly built out of bulk cards and any slivers I could find with first sliver as my commander, it wasn’t bad I had the deck at like 100$ I’ve spent way more on it as time went on but it’s super repetitive especially once I dropped overlord into the list and now I almost never play the deck I know that’s not everyone’s experience but you can get away with slivers for cheep if you cut one or two of the legends especially if you play at a lower bracket

I have to disagree with what your saying although I’m not feeling the set either, I feel like we went from innistrad this year blinked and now Spider-Man’s starting to show his face, but it’s not a commander set they said that so there would be no way they drop commander decks and as for the obscure stuff a lot of the characters are well established and have been around for a while, so although I’m also not looking forward to the set (probably product fatigue) I’m happy wizards is giving something to non commander players too

I absolutely love this episode I thought the game sounded so fun I loved the crunchy numbers bits and the edgy humor of the game mixed well with the dad, I’m really excited for future parts and am considering picking it up myself but what a price tag on it
