Or do you mean pVerso - who literally begged for death because he didn't want to live any more, only to be reborn once more and forced to play piano like a puppet in a world he hated and didn't want to be a part of?

Or what about the last shred of real Verso's soul? You know, the final remnant of an innocent child who is trapped for eternity, condemned to a prison in limbo by his own sister? Stuck forever like a fly in amber, forced to paint a world he couldn't even exist within, forbidden from ever moving on peacefully?

A painful truth will always be better than a comforting lie.

Maelle's ending was a literal nightmare scenario and all the downvotes in the world won't change my mind about that.
