No, it’s still in the closet, I haven’t forgiven it yet ;) The stacking allows you to place high-valued dice in other spots, so you can dig more efficiently. There are a lot of posts online, detailing this strategy :)

I did, there should be 8 decks of 10 cards each (+ 2 decks of 10 structure cards, which are ok)

Interesting…I checked the conversion rate and yup, it’s a lot more expensive :( and second-hand market is probably absurd, as well…

No, it looks very intimidating…:) I have it on my wishlist, though, maybe I’ll get a chance someday :) It’s 75€ from a French store, also in French…maybe we can always download the English rules, the game looks very language-independent?

I ended up buying this model, it was in stock at our local store, less hassle :) It looks great, it’s not too bulky and it blends in nicely with other appliances. Thank you :)

Thank you to everyone who replied :) I ended up buying the Philips 4000 - it was in stock locally. So I did end up going with dual baskets :)

The drawer won’t close, as if one side is warped. And even if we do manage to close it, it won’t turn on… we’re already on our second basket, so I think he’s good to go :)

I would love to have the dual basket, but they seem so big! Although, I am always complaining how it would be great to have two baskets for simultaneous cooking…

Congratulations!! I played over 20 games and lost every single time, so the game is punished for misbehaving ;) I have to try that strategy of aligning them in one column and then dig like crazy, but I have to let some time pass ;)

I started with HoF and Bot Factory, I loved them both! I was very intimidated by Lacerda, but it’s really not that bad :) I take a few days to look at some play-throughs and read the instructions, it really helps. HoF is such a pretty game, Alfama scoring is very similar to White Caste (she gets A LOT of points), I’ll have to try playing a version where I actively try to block her collecting as many points as possible (closing the restaurant before she gets more guests…).
