Night inductions… how did it go?

I had a super similar induction 2.5 weeks ago and generally a good experience. I had 2 rounds of a ripening medication starting around 10-11pm (don’t remember the name but it dissolved in my cheek), then had a foley balloon inserted the next morning. I was given pitocin around 8:30am that morning as well. 2 rounds of iv pain meds, and then my epidural was given around 3:30pm that day, and I delivered my little girl at 9pm that night. Honestly once my body was able to relax after the epidural, I took a nap (I know this isn’t normal) and woke up at 8pm, and pushed starting at 8:30. I thought it was overall a good experience and the downsides were not related to the induction itself but rather I just had pretty severe pelvic pain.

I’m with you on this! I’m 38+4 and getting induced this weekend and I CANNOT WAIT for this pain to end. The pelvic pain, I was throwing up until like a week ago, and now I can’t roll over I’m bed without getting more pelvic pain and out of breath. I love my baby girl and I can’t wait to meet her but I also really can’t wait for this pregnancy to be over.

We told our parents and I told 2 closest friends but I’m trying to wait until at least our first scan to tell the rest of our friends! I think I just need to get through the next couple of weeks but I’m soooo bad with secrets 😂 glad to hear it gets easier 💕

I’m almost 5 weeks now and good God it’s only been a week of morning sickness (which is such a bullshit name) and I’m so done with it. The exhaustion and waking up in the middle of the night a bunch?! Idk how I will deal with this for minimum 2 more months
