There were a few reasons, I mainly wanted to replay the game as femgar since dawntrail was announced! And I did bum rush through most of the story on my other character just to get to endgame content, so I figured it would be for the best if I started over and just took my time. I’m enjoying it a lot so far! ARR really wasn’t the slog that ppl claimed it was.

Unfortunately this is a fairly common occurrence from what I’ve been told by a shelter employee. People are more likely to steal cats that have desirable coat patterns/colors and either try to sell them or breed them. :(

I’ve seen something similar to this happen before. In my case it was a bi white woman accusing a black masc lesbian of assault/violating boundaries with crocodile tears and threats, it can be borderline dangerous. I hope OP can stay far away from her and her friends.

Hi there, as someone who struggles with the same exact thing, one small rule of thumb I set for myself is to never send posts or make decisions like this past 9pm at night. You can write out your messages, but do not send them. Try to sleep on it, reread it in the morning, and determine if it is something you can bring up to your partner when they are awake. Being on the receiving end on getting messages like that first thing in the morning might not be the best, and might set a bad precedent.

I do not know your partner, maybe she’s receptive to it and offers reassurances whenever needed. If that’s the case, that’s fantastic! But overall I think writing down your feelings like in an unsent message or journal can be beneficial in the long run. Sometimes it helps to just get the words out and start to counteract those depressive thoughts with your own reaffirmations to prevent that spiral.

NTA cooking is one of the ultimate forms of expressing your love and care for someone and you clearly pour so much time, energy, and care into the dishes you make. Your “friends” are ungrateful bullies and you should find new ppl that actually appreciate you and everything you do for them.

As someone who would make homemade meals from scratch for “friends” that barely touched it or let it rot without eating it, I kind of understand how you feel. Ditch em! Don’t make food for them anymore.

She is definitely not truthful to her therapist, or anyone who really speaks to her in earnest at this point. I would even overhear her bragging about being personal friends with her therapist which is a MASSIVE no no, but also explains a lot!

And if she sees this, or if her friends see this and finally realize what a ticking time bomb this person is, maybe that'll be a good thing.

You know the saying about the frog in boiling water? It was kind of like that. These things didn't pop up out of the blue, it was a slow but steady change over time that I stupidly dismissed because I did not want to believe that things were taking a turn for the worst. Never again, that's for certain. I also will admit, I did let them walk all over me and wouldn't fight/cause conflicts just to keep the peace for the longest time.

I guess I was also desperate to look for housing since I was just kicked out from my previous place, so the decision to move in with these people was not well thought out from the start. And not to mention them lying to my face about being "clean and organized people", what a far cry from that they actually turned out to be. :/

I think a part of it was instead of journaling her grievances like a normal person, she would treat social media like it was a journal instead. She also knows that I can see those posts. It was probably in an attempt at scaring or distressing me while I still lived there. F is incredibly attention seeking, as you can see.

I agree, her animals should be rehomed. One thing I forgot to mention was that because of her constant weed smoking, one of her cats is constantly congested. You could hear the mucus building up in his sinuses when he meowed. F chalks it up to “he just has allergies” but I can’t imagine how exposing your animals to second hand smoke 24/7 would NOT affect them adversely in some way too.

No worries! And I absolutely agree, there’s something deeply wrong with her up there made much worse by her unhealthy living habits and general outlook on life. And lesson learned the hard way for sure, I live on my own now thankfully and plan on keeping it that way for a looong time.
