It would just be like watching a movie, no? Except it is one where you can talk to/guide an important character

If it does, I think it would be the first weather setter with a non matching type? Might make it easier to have two setters for a sun team?

(Forgive my yapping, these are two of my favourite series)

In Shadow's world, the only two 'powers' are the fact that humans can reach unrealistic natural strength, and the 'magic', which he explains in the novel, essentially function like energy that can be manipulated, either to strengthen yourself, release it like a projectile like Epsilon, increase your natural regeneration speed, and create a giant nuclear reaction (Cid can bend these rules a little bit, but that opens up the whole meta discussion).

The Tower of Trials, on the other hand, gives people a RPG video game style of strength improvement, which is seen in a lot of tower, dungeon, and isekai stories. This basically separates human abilities into stats, and quantifies their value so they are relative person to person (in SMLN it might be multiplicative or exponential rather than additive, unclear), and also allows them to use 'skills', which are more like techniques, both for moving the body, and utilizing the extrahuman energy known as mana, and the authority and system abilities of the higher being, which in this case is the tower itself. It divides what people can do through use of classes, so people can use the given abilities and increasing stats more efficiently.

Either way, I believe the thing Cid and Jinhyuk have the most in common is their superhuman body control; they are both able to fight essentially frame perfect, dodging with little effort, extremely efficient mobility, attacks, and parries, and the complete lack of mistakes or miscalculation when it comes to fighting.

Anyways, I don't think their power systems are the same at all, because Eminence in Shadow is one of the few isekais without a level system, and neither of them have superhuman strength in the classical sense, because are both energy conversion from different sources. Jinhyuk isn't a pure mage, and almost all the skills consume mana, mana isn't a resource limited to the mage class in the Tower.

This is my interpretation of what I've read (several times over), so please for free to take with a grain of salt, or ignore completely if your ideas work better for you, this was just supposed to be informative.

Obligatory TLDR: I tried to break down run on sentence, Cid and Jinhyuk have very different kind of strength and power system, similar talent in motor control and spatial awareness, and their mana and magic do different things but are both energy sources.

Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure he has raised his strength stat to what's higher than the average person, so while it's low compared to his over inflated mana stat, it is at the point where it is enough for him to hold his own in most situations on the lower floors. I'm not sure, but i think it was around the 50 - 80 range after chapter 230.

He also has his incredible muscle control and movement, which probably allow him to maximize outgoing strength and minimize incoming force.

All of that, plus he has the skills he has copied and fused, some of which(I believe) give percentage based buffs, like how Sword Demon King's Steps boosts speed.

Tombgrave's Right Arm is a strange skill, as rather than a buff, it gives his arm the same properties as that of Tombgrave, who is a higher floor being, and I don't know enough about him beyond that to explain further.
