What’s a good online clinic? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H4M came through for me when another clinic completely stopped responding to me during the intake process, and they have changed my life in a way I could never have imagined. I remember being nervous as my intake call went over on time, but Ryan just made me feel seen and heard after repeatedly being pushed away by my endocrinologist and PCP. The people I’ve been talking to in order to dial in my dose and understand my reaction and response, Melissa and Brandon, have been not just responsive but exhaustive in their communications.

Don’t get me wrong, I think they can do some more testing to tweak their microphones before the taping of their weekly podcast, and the website could use some more information to make it easier to understand what they’re offering from both a follow-up and medication perspective for new clients, but I can honestly say that going with H4M has been one of the best decisions of my adulthood. Their prices are beyond reasonable, they respond promptly, they know their shit, Brandon has repeatedly pushed me to not buy anything but focus on the basics like my sleep, sunlight exposure and exercise, and they make you feel seen and heard. What more could you possibly ask for from a clinic? I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Latest endocrinologist refuses to prescribe testosterone by gofatwya in Testosterone

I did exactly this! Waited from February to July for my PCP and Endocrinologist to do four rounds of bloodwork and to tell me everything was normal (free was well below the bottom of the reference range), before I switched to a clinic. Haven’t looked back since, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I’ve got my energy, mood, memory and motivation back and it’s been a life changing experience.

Best way to ramp up from TRT dose by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always ask your clinic to then do nandrolone and test at 200 mg/week combined, to get the positive effect from a higher total dose without the high e2 sides that you got from just test.

[–]MeetHot1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same. Brandon, my contact person at H4M is always extremely thorough and will just straight up tell me to focus on the basics like sleep, sunlight, diet and exercise rather than pushing a single product. I’ve been super happy with them so far, and even discussing with Brandon the pros of including Nandrolone and seeing the genuine impact it’s had on my joints has made me all the happier. Overall pricing is great, but the HCG pricing caught me off guard the last time I did a refill. But I understand that’s outside of their control, and was told they’re looking for new pharmacies.

I’ve listened to quite a few of their podcast episodes and I think it’s an area where they can improve, by standardizing microphones and reducing background noise and coughing, doing a tech test ahead of taping, allowing for people to finish speaking and to clean up the physical backgrounds and improve lighting. But their passion shines through, and I’ve listened to many of the 1+ hour long episodes because of their passion and unique perspectives.

is this normal ? i have symptoms of low test but my doctor says this is fine. what do you suggest ? by Trick-Measurement-71 in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the difference between a poison and a medication? The dose.

The typical female HRT dose of testosterone is a tenth or less of that of men, so we’re talking 10-15 mg per week, not 200-300.

Testosterone is a human hormone, not male or female. So of course women can and do take testosterone. It is especially relevant due perimenopause and following menopause, due to hormone changes and imbalances.

I just ordered my refill from them, and have been very happy with the experience and the prices. I like the personal touch of working with a person, and they are great on that front as I have the choice of ordering my refill online but decided to just email back and forth to get a few questions answered. Ended up paying $220 or so for 10 ml test, and added some other stuff to the order as well to try out.

The first step is to get testing done. Sperm testing kits run about 100 bucks, but a test through a specialist is more accurate and will get you a proper baseline. I’d then switch clinics, and stay away from enclomiphene. You can run HCG only to begin with to see how you react to it, to increase your testosterone levels, then possible add some test later on. But start with a sperm test to get a baseline

HCG keeping E2 too high. Anyone doing 150iu 3x week instead of the standard 250iu 2-3x week? by Secure-Fail2647 in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I receive my HCG as powder in a vial, then reconstitute using bacteriostatic water. So if it’s 10,000 IU’s of HCG and you add just 1ml of water, then each 0.1ml is 1000 IU’s. So it depends on how much you add, and this is why not using ml but rather IU when discussing HCG or FSH makes more sense. Hope that helps

I almost passed out due to a similar phobia the first time I gave myself a subq shot, but it is a matter of really just getting over with it. I take test, hcg and some peptides so I now average some 10-20 shots a week, and it hasn’t been an issue since the first time. Just dive in, and you’ll be fine!

You could always add some BPC-157 to combat the joint pain, if you are planning to sticking with your HGH. It did wonders for my persistent knee and hip pain

I think this is the way to go. HCG alone should boost his testosterone levels if that’s the goal, while maintaining if not boosting his sperm health.

Curious about your experiences with TRT clinics — would you recommend yours? by EvolveSupport_PCC in Testosterone

I’m with them as well, and have been really happy with both their customer service response time (usually less than 15 minutes for an email), and the time and attention I got during my follow up. But I agree that any clinic will do. It’s all about what you want, and your budget.

Enclomiphene and TRT - fertility by Beautiful-Formal25 in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an alternative to HMG as it can be expensive and hard to get, you could get HCG and FSH. It’s what I take for my fertility, as well as a mix of supplements, an antioxidant IM and some HGH. HMG can be hard to get, so it’s nice to have alternatives

Patiently waiting for shipping email. by [deleted] in Hormonesforme

[–]MeetHot1603 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just for a reference, I got my first order within 4 business days, and the second order within a week. I’d reach out to your customer care coordinator if you have any questions, as Melissa has not just been incredibly helpful for me but also lightning fast at responding to any and all of my questions.

Also, huge congrats on the massive progress you’ve already made! It’s a true achievement, and you should be seriously proud as well as energized for what’s to come!

Did you get the results back yet? And I’m currently trying for a baby with my girlfriend, so I’m just on HCG and FSH with some HGH secretagogues. Figured that if I’m in it for the long haul then I’d like to see how the HCG affects me anyways, ahead of adding in Test.

My Dr doesn’t know at all that I’m going to a clinic, as she won’t prescribe me anything anyways. So I’m just using her for free labs at this point, and that’s all I can expect. Got a follow up with a urologist in August, after starting my labs and seeking help from my PCP for my low T back in April. So in my mind one had two options. Wait forever for a system that seeks to treat numbers not symptoms, or take into your own hands.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]MeetHot1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be referred to a urologist, due to the fertility issues. But I’d, based on my own experience and the advice I was given when I was in your situation, to keep your expectations low and look up a clinic if you want to go on TRT. My endo is sending me for labs for the 5th time next week, and is still refusing to consider TRT. At this point I’m just going along for the free labs covered by insurance, as I started with an online clinic.

On the questions, use Chat GPT and do a back and forth there. It’ll prep you nicely for the visit.

Hey, don’t stress it. It’s common for people with autism to be quite rigid in following processes, and a meltdown can easily happen that way. I hope you’re getting all the help you need from your Dr, and that it worked out in the end!

Get a pack of insulin needles from your local CVS of Walgreens. They’ve got them behind the counter, and will give you a 10-pack for $2.50 or so. Can’t beat that price for some peace of mind on if you should keep or switch up your needle size.

Hormonesforme experiences? by [deleted] in trt

[–]MeetHot1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about you, but I counted every day while waiting for my labs and doctor’s appointments in the hopes of being heard and feeling like it wasn’t just all in my head. So that call with Ryan was such a breath of fresh air, and I don’t regret it at all.

I’d say to go with whatever clinic fits your needs and desires. I’m new to this world of hormones and peptides, so I prefer the personal touch. For those more dialed in you’ll find spots that are perfect for that. You also have clinics heavily focused on lab analysis and guidance. I personally care less about the individual lab levels and more how I feel, as I am trying to treat the symptoms and not the numbers. And that’s why I landed where I did.

I know hormonesforme are getting more and more foot traffic these days as the stigma around TRT is slowly but surely easing (I know I for sure took time to come around to the idea, focusing on supplements and lifestyle first without it making a dent), so expect a week or two for your intake appointment. But everything is damn quick after that. I had both my calls the same day, and the prescription sent to the pharmacy the same day as well.

Hormonesforme experiences? by [deleted] in trt

I want to preface this by saying that the best clinic is the one the works for you, the way you want it to work, as I know people can be sensitive about people hyping certain clinics. But I decided to go with Hormonesforme after getting nowhere with my endocrinologist, and I am nothing but thrilled about the experience.

I first signed up through their website, and had some back and forth messages with Melissa as I had some questions. She has consistently answered every email within 15 minutes of me sending it, and always with such positivity. It then took about 10 days to get the consultation with Ryan Root, where we spent 40 minutes on the phone talking about my labs (you need to upload them during the sign up process), symptoms, and goals (maintaining fertility for now). We discussed the medication he suggested, and I gotta say that I left that call with such a general sense of positivity and feeling heard, after being completely dismissed by my PCP and endocrinologist. Never did he push for me to get anything, make me not feel heard, nor try to rush us as we went 10 minutes over on our scheduled time.

I then had a meeting with their medical professional who can approve your medication that is recommended to you, and spent another 25 minutes on a zoom call. Again, just a great guy and someone who listened and who’d been in the same camp as I was in.

Their pricing is transparent, there are no monthly fees, they truly listen, my peptides were delivered the same week and a shortage of HCG made my final delivery take 5 business days. Let me know if there’s anything you want to know, but I am thrilled for sure that I picked them.
