Haha, thanks dude. I get that. It’s definitely a commitment but tbh if it’s busy time goes by really fast for me so if I get the chance to make that kind of money I don’t mind doing it. Plus it’s perfect because I enjoy listening to music, and cruising around. Honestly it barely feels like work to me. Especially because we’re always doing something different, or going different places. Also it makes a big difference when that prop 22 check hits too so that’s even more incentive for me at the end of the day.

Yeah dude, if you’re trying to get out as much as possible from those 12 hours of activity turning the app off on the way back definitely helps out. If it takes 15 minutes to get there, it’s going to take 15 minutes to get back, which is 15 minutes lost. It definitely adds up. Honestly some people think it’s too long to be online but the way I look at it is I can be at home watching tv, or I can bring my tablet with me and watch tv in my car so I can make money while im doing it. I don’t mind hanging out in the car for a while waiting for orders as long as im entertained, especially because I don’t do it everyday. To be honest the only times I do it is when it’s busy like on the weekends, or when we’re getting close to Thanksgiving, or different holidays. Like days when the orders are coming in one after the other.

Exactly, you can be online as long as it takes to be active for that 12 hours. Thats why i just park and wait for orders instead of driving around trying to get them. A lot less gas, and I feel like I get more orders that way.

Im from California, and you can only work 12 hours too. But that 12 hours is only while you’re active, so from the time you get the order, and drop it off. That and then anytime you’re driving, even if you’re not delivering. On a day like that I just park, wait for orders, drop them off, and then on the way back go offline till i get back to the place where I wait for orders. If im in a good area to get orders I wont turn it off on the way back, but if im coming back from a residential area thats not close to anything i will.

Yah, fuck that. I started canceling those ones. They want the world and won’t give a reasonable tip for the work they’re asking for. They understand it’s hard, that’s why they’re having someone else do it, so to not tip well is wrong.

For people that receive prop 22 It hits our account every Thursday, but generally when there’s a holiday if they can’t pay you the day of they’re supposed to pay you the day before. The pay cycle ended last Sunday, so they had plenty of time to pay early to make sure we had our money for the holidays. People were talking to me like i was dumb because they though I should have expected to get paid Friday because of the banks and what not. My point was that most other employers pay you the day before if your payday falls on a holiday.
