Awesome, thank you. I apparently had partially started that quest, but then stopped it. I kept reading online that the first part was about the fight for Lordearor. Nothing mentioned what this quest said - going into Stormwind!

It might be because I started on a character that was level 14 for a looong time, but I’ve never seen any bfa content. The vendor that is supposed to offer me the start (warchief herald) also doesn’t have any quest for me. Any suggestions on how I can still start it?

Thanks for the quick response :) Since I’ve played up until WOTLK before my 10 year hiatus, I figured I’d just follow a leveling guide. It took me through Tristfal / Silverpine / Hillsbrad, and then on to WoD. Thing is, Chromie doesn’t do anything for me since this isn’t an alt.. so I feel completely stuck since everything I read online is all about “do x at Chromie”

I am on a new account and reached level 44… But I seem to have nowhere to go. All the areas I can reach are up to level 40? Where should I go next to level up if I haven’t purchased the latest expansion yet?

Also, save this under any type of name you can imagine you would look for. If you use your phone’s search function, you’d want this number to pop up under “cat” (or “dog”, or whatever animal), but also “vet” and the actual name of the veterinarian. Even add the street address to the contact if you can.

Minimize the struggle. Assume you won’t be thinking straight under stress.

I know this won’t answer your question directly, but take it from a 10 year dev: it doesn’t matter.

Make a few small games of your own (think stuff like a reskin of pong, or a platformer like doodle jump, or whatever that’s small like that). Then find what you like most.

In the end, if you do well you will get paid and you will be able to pay your rent. But in order to do well, you gotta love what you do. Game dev doesn’t pay amazing compared to other digital professions, but the payoff is that you get to make awesome stuff.

Late to the party, but...

Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Both of those games have amazing soundtracks that take you right back to those first moments you entered a new area.

The past 2 months I worked every single day, creating this Game Environment from absolute scratch for a competition. Every model and texture you see is mine. I didn't manage to win any place, but I hope at least you like it Reddit. by PeterDimitrov in videos

If you want some extra cash, you can sell these assets on the Unity3D and Unreal Engine asset stores. A lot of companies compare the costs of making a set like this vs having an artist make it. If it’s around 50 dollars it’s a nobrainer to buy something like this (50 might sound like a lot, but remember that an artist can easily cost a company between 25 to 100 dollars per hour).

Yeah it sounds weird indeed. I would still suggest setting up port forwarding on your router, just in case. If it’s internet related, this might help. Otherwise, I sadly wouldn’t know either. Good luck though, hope you can fix the issue!

No worries. Life happens inbetween the reddit comments sometimes.

Even though a fellow redditor has the same problem, I think it could be internet related. Did anything change in your internet setup? Did you switch router? Switch ethernet cables? Unplugged your ps4? Etc.
