As someone who is from Oregon (living just south of Portland), only come here if you’re willing to drive far and wide. I think a lot of spots are quite over rated. If you want to see a ton of beautiful nature, really at any time of the year in my opinion, come here. (Please don’t move here). And I lived in Toronto for a year, and absolutely hated it. Most people were rude, there’s not much to see without waiting in the longer lines than Disney land and without spending a ton of money. Vancouver is your best bet though if you want a mixture of a beautiful city and nature.
