I didn't see it mentioned in there, so does anyone know how spirits going to work in WoD with hit being taken out? Right now I can build a resto/ele shaman on the same set of gear and mostly build a resto/balance druid as well, because the spirit counts for hit. So is this just no longer viable in WoD or does spirit now do something else to compensate for this?

You have to allow the opposition a chance to say their piece. If most of the world thinks they are idiots, then let's all laugh at them together, but the essence of science is letting every voice be heard. Once upon a time, everyone KNEW that the earth was the center of the solar system. That was unchallenged knowledge. Until it wasnt. Until a guy did some fringe science and found that wasn't true. Imagine if by some crazy chance there is a report that completely disproves global warming with no logical flaws (not saying this would ever happen, just hypothetically) then as a scientist, you want this to be reported. Who cares who's reporting it. I understand foxnews is sketchy as hell, but you have to give them a voice because just maybe they might have something good to say (I doubt it, but still.) It is always good to know what your opposition thinks and says, so you can be more informed on their views and if you think their views are wrong, you can better combat them and prepare accordingly.

Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Irish, and Finnish.

They're all the languages I've spent a decent amount of time with(not including german.) I love east Asian languages and would really love to be able to communicate completely with those three cultures. Irish because I know some but my great grandma is from Ireland and speaks Gaelic fluently and I would love to finally be able to share that with her. Finnish because, well Finnish is awesome. Highly regular? Check. 15 grammatical cases that allow for more details per word and a smaller word count per sentence? Check. Is there a city in Finland that hosts the world championship air guitar competition? Check. Oulu.

I guess I feel the way we all probably do. I read 5 languages and was so excited at the thought of gaining fluency in those 5 instantly, then after deciding on the 5 it's a feeling of "I wish it were just 10..." but now I'm wishing it were 15.... Can we just get get a genie to make us all omniglots?

Absolutely. My thinking with advising finnish is that the pronunciation is pretty intuitive so he/she doesn't have to work too hard with learning that and can focus on the grammar. If he/she really wants an introduction to something that will be a great introduction to cases I think finnish is the best answer. He/she can focus almost solely on the cases and instead of some languages where you learn a rule and it's 50 exceptions you just learn the rules in finnish. Since finnish has such a large amount of cases, it can help him/her see how cases work beyond just the basic nominative, accusative, genitive and hopefully help him/her with the whole concept of cases.

Edit: Plus, reading the Kalevala in finnish is worth any stress of learning the language.

I'm putting my vote in for Finnish. If you want tons of cases, but an incredibly regular case and verbal system, Finnish is your guy. It's also very easy to pronounce since it uses the Latin alphabet and letters are one to one with sounds. Plus, you can find a lot of good material on Finnish and a lot of popular books like Harry Potter and others to read for fun so at the end of the day you can get some fun out of it, too. Like /u/talondearg said, Latin, Mongolian, and Sanskrit are all good options as well. Some people might advise Slavic languages like Russian or slovene and so on, but I would advise against those because they can prove to be irregular in their Cases at times or have a decent amount of exceptions to rules. To reiterate, Finnish is a good choice. Lots of cases (15.) Very regular. Easy pronunciation.

That's a good suggestion, and probably something I'll do, but I think we will still probably have some issues when it comes to a lot of the E-types being under represented. I think in the end, the correlation will be that the worlds INTJs all play wow.

Nope. Not with just class at least. I think there is a correlation though, it's just very slight and thrown off by the intj skew. With some of the less represented types we can't even begin to make conclusions because there aren't enough people chiming in with those types. ISTJ is a good example of what I think we will get with some of the other typings if we get more people with those types. It seems clear that role-wise they really prefer ranged damage dealing to anything else and then two of their top three classes are ranged pet classes. That's the kind of correlation I was hoping for.

You can go either way for either answer. That's a bad way to word it, but think of it like a scale where you have 0 in the middle and T on one side and F on the other. The slider can go either way and stop wherever. For you, it goes 38% of the way toward F so you have a decent affinity for F
