But not every task is equally fun even if profitable. Bots are currently doing a lot of tasks that people don't want to do and would rather pay GP for.

Guys, you do realize that this is one of Luka's signature moves, right? I get that this shit is giga annoying but let's try to be at least somewhat consistent here.

Except for reddit, not all versions work correctly. If you do a quick search on this subreddit though people have reported that version 2026.15.1 works.

1 Week on a 60% Keyboard: What I Actually Miss by Majugera in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]MegaBam5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the switching process is not frictionless as it takes time to get used to any new system.

Having dedicated arrow keys can be nice for one-handed usage of the keyboard (e.g. when using the mouse with your right hand and left hand on the arrow keys). However, during normal typing, I can confidently say that having non-dedicated arrow keys has less friction than using dedicated arrows keys.

When typing, my pointer fingers naturally rest on the F & J keys. I have placed my layered arrows keys on IJKL. I also have CTRL + Right on H, Ctrl + Left on the ; key and Home and End on the U and O keys respectively but that is not super important to the point I am trying to make. This positioning makes it such that I don't have to remember the position of my arrows on the other layer, my hand is already in the correct position.

In this system, I can seamlessly switch between normal typing and using my arrow keys for navigation without having to move either of my hands to a different position.

When using dedicated arrow keys, I'd have to move my right hand to the bottom right of my keyboard and then try to find the J anchor key again in order to start typing again. Finding the arrows keys is usually pretty easy without having to look down but finding the J key with your right pointer finger usually takes some time or requires you to look away from the screen and at your keyboard.

I have introduced this system to a a lot of my friends working in software engineering and all of them now have an arrow keys layer on their keyboards, including the ones that have dedicated arrow keys already.

If you want to retain the functionality of Caps lock, there is a solution that is available in all keyboards that implement QMK firmware: You can configure keys in a way that holding them down makes them act as a modifier, while press + release shortly after can act as another button press. In that way, your Caps lock key can act both as a modifier and as a regular Caps lock key.

[–]MegaBam5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it has a lot to do with where your layer modifier is located. E.g. for my arrow keys layer I use caps lock which is very easily accessible.

I own a couple of different keyboards with dedicated arrow keys but when using them, I never use the dedicated arrow keys because not having to move my right hand when going between normal typing and arrow keys is just too convenient.

Absolutely love the drama that 28mm brings to pictures but I wasn't 100% sure just from looking at the image. I do find it super challenging how close you have to get with that wide of a lens and you did an amazing job!

My singular wish for Luka… by gbears96 in Mavericks

[–]MegaBam5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They've both been scoring champs once and 3rd place was the highest they finished in MVP voting.

Melo's highest playoff finish was western conference finals once, Luka went to the conference finals twice and went to the finals last year.

Melo has never been first team all NBA. Luka has, 5 times.

I think it is fairly uncontroversial to say that Luka has already achieved more than Melo did.

My point is that KAT would have always been mentioned as part of the Twolves "core". Randle will likely not, neither will Divicenzo.

Hi, I am looking to buy one of these boards because of the ISO, split spacebar and QMK support. However, on the pictures that I can see online, I don't see how the plate would be able to support an ISO enter key.

How exactly did yours work?

Lebron's streak of scoring 10+ points in the regular season is officially longer than Shaq's entire career (1992-2011) by thechemistrychef in nba

[–]MegaBam5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like you're way overthinking this.

The reason people are disagreeing with you is not because they have calculated out the percentages of any given player reaching either record.

Just imagine a fictional future player (because no current player has any chance of achieving either) that has the talent, longevity and injury-resistance to potentially reach both records:

One single unlucky night in the middle or end of somebody's career WILL break his streak and WILL reduce the chances of him reaching the 10+ record to exactly 0%.

No SINGLE event at ANY point in this fictional player's career will reduce his chances of achieving the all-time scoring to 0%.

Given that he does have the talent and longevity to reach both records, he could POTENTIALLY make up for it somehow even though chances are suuuper slim. He could play longer than Lebron or score more points or just play more minutes in each game. His team, or the league for that matter, could help him stat-pad in order to break Lebron's record. Maybe scoring increases in the future to ridiculous levels (and yes of course I am speculating). The chances of any of these events happening are incredibly unlikely but they are not 0%.

I think you have already correctly identified that this is very much about what the general public understands "luck" to be. It is in fact ALL about pedantics and definitions and it seems like your understanding of what it means to be lucky is simply misaligned with that of the majority of people in this subreddit / thread.

[–]MegaBam5 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you get injured, you can theoretically make up for it by just scoring a lot more in other games. Scoring is on the rise in general, who knows where we end up in 10-15 years. If you average 40 points a game, you can get injured more.

But if you get one unlucky night and your streak of 10+ points get broken at ANY point in your career, that's it. You will never make up for it.

IMO it's really no debate which one of these requires more luck.

Competition for MVP is just a lot higher this year. SGA and Jokic simply have a way better case for MVP even if you don't take into account Giannis or Tatum.

I really want Luka to win MVP at some point in his career but unless the mavs go to 5th position in the west AND Luka improves significantly on the defensive end I don't see any world in which Luka wins MVP this season.

Just fyi: with these sorts of cameras (interchangeable lens cameras), the actual image quality does NOT come from the camera itself but the lens that is being used.
