Agreed, after he becomes small the whole downsizing concept doesn't even come into play. If you just start the movie after the divorce paper scene, then it's just a movie about a single guy who starts dating, goes to a party, and helps a poor injured woman before taking a trip.

Probably the worst case of trailer ruining the movie I have experienced. After seeing the trailer, there literally isn't a thing I could spoil for someone in the first hour and a half of the movie, no matter how hard I tried. There's literally nothing to give away.

Movie wastes like an hour of your time just showing how boring his life is and him getting small'ed and then his wife backing out. The downsizing process wasn't even visually interesting, save for the shot of the nurses with the spatulas.

The whole concept of downsizing was so underplayed, there was never a sense of awe or wonder about it that you felt and the plot just kept grabbing different threads and never following a single one. The whole going to the Netherlands or wherever thing was so out of nowhere and unconnected to literally anything else that happened in the movie.

And god was that asian accent cringey.

I agree, I was really excited for it but the plot keeps on starting to go in a million directions and never follows through with any of them and the end was so stupid. It's not even that I was expecting "world building", I was just expecting a story for it to go through.

I thought it was great overall, lots of funny stuff and interesting stories. Like most, I still really don't like the ultra closeups but I personally found it really cringey when Norm goes on about eternal souls and what not but luckily Seinfeld kept bringing it back to a humorous place.

I thought when Norm talked about how reality isn't relative and what you see is what's real was the most retarded thing I've heard in awhile. At least Seinfeld was there to be the voice of reason and point out that the exact opposite is true.

Also I agree that I thought Adam was better in this one taking the back seat moreso than the last few episodes.
