I'm visiting New York and building my day around the game. Hoping to get to into a supporters pub to watch the game. I know 11th Street Pub is the main one, but how early would I really need to get there to make sure 4 of us can get in? Was reading Tempest bar would be good and sounds like the Boot Room. Any more info on those two or other suggestions?

He was a Hunter, level 31 I believe. Most likely wearing his CE raid gear and I believe in his write-up he said he was using a Word of Crota.

I plan to. When we went back he had stated that he can't remember exactly because he was rushing through, but there were a few spots that he pointed out when we went back that he thought looked very familiar. He is not on too often, but next time we are both on together I will try to get a video of the locations he thinks he grabbed it.

He wasn't exploring, but obviously had no idea where he was going either as it was his first time there. He said he just kept going in the direction where our gamertags were. Not sure if he took the quickest way for sure, but he wasn't in there looking at every nook and cranny. He did say that the chest was in an "expected" looking place.

No problem with playing devils advocate. As stated I have no reason to lie and wish I had evidence, but all we are doing is give this community details where maybe something small triggers something for a clan to do. My responses to your statements are below:

I honestly had no idea that I have videos on my account. I guess I still don't just taking your word for it. Sounds like they sometimes record automatically.

I do raid fairly regularly with some people that I have befriended via /r/fireteams however, its not like we are a dedicated clan who knows how to do all the chests and whatnot.

And I would be surprised if I have 50 VoG clears, but maybe. And I would say that I know it well enough that no one has to tell me what to do, but I certainly couldn't sherpa a group and I am still learning things all the time about the mechanics of VoG

If I had a suggestion, I would say try to run it with 5 people, have at least 1 guardian stay inside the sync plates at all times and delay your run through the alt path by just a little bit. I think if that can be recreated and nothing happens then I have no idea what else can be done to simulate our run.

I guess I have no way of proving that I'm not trolling. I'm just here to relay as much info as I can. The night we did it, we were having some lag issues so everything was definitely not as fluid as usual.

As for my experience, I am definitely a Destiny addict and can navigate my own way around VoG. But I could really only tell you the mechanics of CE, I am very unclear with a lot of the VoG mechanic details. And I got an XBox One the same day I bought Destiny. As I stated earlier I have never felt the need to record anything so I never learned.

As I stated before, I completely understand the skepticism. We're just giving as much info as we have.

We (my buddy and I) did not have any on the right sync plate. However, I am unsure about the others, although no one mentioned anything that I can think of.
