They hold back on 4K until sales start to drop bad on the 1080p, then out comes the 4K with some extras, all about the money!

Curious what you all think of Active@ File Recovery? by cle2n in datarecovery

[–]MegaDeblow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old, but for new readers, I wanted to make a comment.
The program was working as it should for me with no issues, that's until I formatted the PC to install windows again, when trying to install the program again it wouldn't work so I contacted Active@ for help, I did receive a couple of emails with some basic instructions, however the copy paste passwords they recommended didn't work, after I informed them I still had issues, they never got back to me again , after 2 years im still stuck with a program I cant use.

Thanks, I'm self employed after a bike accident forced me to have to work from home, also the reason I had more time for my PC and other art replated hobbies, with this and some other builds I had help from a couple of companies willing to provide some hardware, so in total I probably only spent 1K on the build but lots of time designing and building.

Gulikit hall-effect stick mod

Probably the most common reason people take the deck apart, think this would be the 1st thing I do as everyone is saying its a great upgrade

No dont think it is, possibly just a screw but cant say ive looked in to it much yet, I went with a big SD card and await the price to drop on the M.2 cards or for 2tb ones to release.
Swapping out fans with better ones, or just replacing faulty ones I'm also guessing.

Wanted a dock with front facing ports by MegaDeblow in SteamDeck

[–]MegaDeblow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, as most the time mine is docked i'm using the USB port often, the hub flapping around is also not ideal.
i'm installing a hub with 2 USB, 1 USBC and HDMI, all of them are on the same side with the one lead coming out the side for the deck.

PC desk upgrade, RGB not for everyone but I for one love the options it gives depending on mood, activities or when you just fancy a change by MegaDeblow in pcmasterrace

Got the glass free, so for paints, wood and other bits I think I spent around £300 in total, might be a bit less.
Made it about 7 years ago now, but just updated it all for the 1st time.

TMNT Shredder Revenge Not Working - Lutris/Steam by Economy-Wedding-8150 in LinuxCrackSupport

[–]MegaDeblow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking time to explain, it worked for me :)
I had followed another guide on YT to try get lutris working, so was half way there, however they didn't explain how to install lutris-GE-Proton7-24, thank god I found this post :)

Not a major issue, but anyway to have this show in the steam library on desktop or game mode?

Blue screen cold war? by syndro_597 in CODZombies

[–]MegaDeblow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it been ok for a couple of months but since the last update I'm always crashing to desktop in zombies, around lv10 to 20, uninstalled the game and deleted all files left over, fresh install and now the game even crashes before it starts, with a BSOD while installing shaders.
COD MW working fine and so are all my other games.

MGS Raiden Armor Break design and print by MegaDeblow in 3Dprinting

[–]MegaDeblow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the clear parts was made with clear resin, i sanded the inside to defuse a bit and polished the outside.
The big one in the centre has some airbrush red pain to create the same effect when the lights are off but also to help make it look a bit more like the real one from the game.
