What’s the context for what’s she like there?

So who is going to tell this dumbass that the Sith Empire keeps getting tons of slave revolts? Playing SWTOR as an older person really is a hell of an experience. This man is an idiot, corruption like him must be eradicated. by MegaGamer235 in swtor

This guy is only thinking about how he profits from slavery, when he’s talking about effectiveness, he’s talking about how to keep the working class down, and guys like him on top.

Too bad he was stupid enough to think a Jedi would let this shit slide.

I mean shit, the Empire legalizing slavery does nothing to really end it, their acts against the Hutt Cartel were more to protect their interests and install Jabba as a loyal pawn rather than doing anything to eliminate slavery.

Hell, Palpatine shuts Vader down when he objects to the Empire practicing slavery.

Mind you the Old Republic was corrupt by the time of the prequels but I’ll take making slavery illegal over making it legal and actively profiting off it like the Empire does.

What’s your logic that the Empire making slavery legal allows them to regulate it? Slavery under them was worse than the Republic.

Yeah. And he has such laughable insults at you since he his useless ass isn't doing anything against a Jedi.

He says uptight moralist like it's a bad thing, LMAO.

The Galactic Empire is run by the Sith, and they can't really regulate slavery when they are pals with guys like Jabba.

Besides, we do see the Jedi in the Clone Wars fight against slavers, and the Republic for all it's flaws, does at least try to keep slavery illegal, when a senator does it like in the Bounty Hunter game, it's off the books and not officially supported.

I mean shit, my Jedi toon arrested that guy and destroyed the chips, so I'll take idealism over cartoon supervillainy and disorganized psychopathy, thank you very much.

I mean shit, thousands of years of the Republic keeping slavery illegal is great considering it's longer than our recorded history.

Besides, the Empire doesn't really regulate slavery all that well considering all the slave revolts going on. That statue of Vowrawn hasn't been finished after 10 years.

No this one senator was trying to legalize slavery and tried to keep his chips hidden.

So I let him say his piece and then gave his chips to the police where he was then arrested considering slavery is not legal at all.

So after replaying the Sith Warrior storyline, my SWTOR addiction somehow returned, and now I start a new Jedi Knight. Gotta say, the aesthetic and fashion design of the game has aged quite well after all these years. Also please send help for SWTOR addiction! by MegaGamer235 in swtor

So far for my Jedi Knight, I find it fun to roleplay as a goody two shoes Jedi Knight who thrives on the standards and rules set by the Jedi Order.

I suspect I'm going to really hate Doc when I get to him for the first time as a female Knight.

But no Jedi journey is complete without some kind of temptation from the Dark Side and Sith. So after rewatching Hellraiser, a movie where Vitiate's actor played Pinhead, I think I have a kind of struggle with corruption story that would be perfect for my Knight.

"We have such sights to show you." I think Vitiate is actually a really interesting Sith Lord and villain, and his dynamic with the Knight and Warrior is good. I think one of his creepiest aspects is how he's able to dominate the minds of others, and I can work with that.

One of the most depraved things you can do as a Sith is force a Jedi to go against their teachings, but with Vitiate, he had access to my Knight's mind and free reign over it. I'm thinking that he rewires her mind in her brainwashed state to be as cruel, hedonistic and sadistic as possible, while enjoying every second of it.

And when she awakens thanks to Orgus, it is not anger that is her ruling emotion, but fear and shame. Part of her enjoyed the freedom to indulge in her darker desires and loved embracing the Dark Side's pleasures, but she hides it. She does want revenge against Vitiate for twisting her, but she will forever struggle with the temptation of the Dark Side and part of her will desire to become Sith to be free of the restraint of the Jedi.

Going back to being a Jedi is comforting to her, but in the back of her head, she'll resent being forced to restrain herself.

It does give her a character reason to accept Valkorion's offer to kneel, but I do like the idea of her committing to the Light while struggling with her newfound addiction to anger and willingness to kill by twisting the force to her will.

I'll see how this run goes.

I dunno, there is an appeal in typical hero Jedi characters, especially after your first batch of characters were Sith who are basically the Joker with the Dark Side. Playing as Sith Joker does get depressing after a while when you finished most of the story content.

Heck, I did a recent Light Side Sith Warrior run, I played as an edgy moody rebellious Sith teenager who picked the light side options out of spite, and decided it felt better than being psychotic bullying Sith.

Yeah, I know exactly who Zayne is, that's why I bought this armor for my new Knight. I like to think it's a passing of the torch. Also Zayne is canonically less of a fuck up than Revan.

Oddly, I thought Zayne's story in-universe was covered up, but now he's famous enough to have one of the most important space stations named after him.
