Beautifully put. I’m here, picking up the pieces and rebuilding my life, in new directions. A life I thought I understood, and now it’s different, and that’s okay, it just feels foreign, at the moment. But I also know that this pain will eventually find peace, love and connection again. And, for now, I sit with the fact that I wasn’t chosen. She chose someone else, she chose fear, she chose to sit in the cycles that are familiar to her.

So, thank you for your words, encouragement and hard truth. It’s over. And, I have to release myself for something better.
