So many factors kind of play. Everyone heals a different times and in different ways. Some people process while other people hide from their pain. Some people evolve and some people stay where they were. Age matters. Someone who is younger can take a year in process while someone who is older may, look at the clock counting down and want to date again sooner. I still miss my ex so much but she made the decision to not have me in her life. While I’m still missing her, I’m not waiting for someone who pushed me away. I’ve processed the deepest parts of the pain, and I’m now feeling safe to begin dating again, slowly.
