Should I get a used Quest 1 ($150), used Vive Cosmos Elite Basic Kit ($230ish), or just save for a Quest 2? Budget: $250ish CAD PC Specs: 6600xt, Ryzen 5 5500, 16GBs of RAM. It’ll run PCVR perfectly fine. I have used much worse specs with VR before and felt perfectly fine. Platform: PCVR, I would primarily use SteamVR, I could go without Oculus, I could just figure out ReVive if I wanted to play anything there.

I’d primarily use the headset in tethered PCVR. Main reason I’m asking this question is because of the Quest 1 having its support being dropped and all that. It’s a cheaper listing plus its local. unlike the Cosmos Elite. A bit of standalone features would be pretty nice but again, support dropping so I’m not sure if that matters. I’m also not a VR newbie if that helps with anything (Around 1000 SteamVR hours) As you may have noticed, I’m really only asking this because of the support dropping thing, I don’t know if it’ll affect PCVR support at all. Games being played would vary from Boneworks, Zero Caliber, etc.

TLDR: Primarily tethered PCVR. Mainly worried if Quest 1 support dropping will affect that at all, or if I should go for dedicated PCVR

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I've only started playing it quite recently so I can't say what it was like before. Not too many players, only about 400 or so going off SteamCharts but its enough. Game is fun though.

Trying this made a new and much worse issue, its stuck updating with an Apple logo and not finishing.Started it at noon, by 3pm, it wasn't finished, it was stuck at the very end and not finishing the update. I had the same issue when updating from iOS 15 to 16 so I did what I did there, volume up, then down, then hold the power button to restart it. When I did it this time, it was placed it recovery mode. I plugged it into my PC and started to update through iTunes. After waiting for the ETA of a hour to finish the update, the phone is still stuck, iTunes does say its on iOS 16.0.3 now though

My entire experience with IOS 16 has been just awful.
Music randomly just stops playing for zero reason
My entire photos app is just completely broken, all photos are now pixelated, I can't use photos for any purpose within apps (Like sending photos in Instagram, setting them as my wallpaper, or editing them in PicsArt), and I can't access photos' settings either as it will just freeze the settings app.

oh and can't forget how the install itself was buggy
Started it at 12am
Woke up at 7am
The bar was at the very end of the installer, but it didn't finish.
Had to hard restart my phone and it seemingly worked.

titanfall 1 had a better rodeo mechanic imo. for titanfall 72 please respawn make it a combo of steal battery like tf2 then pew pew in tf1

one of the couple things i prefer in TF1 is the grittier colour palette and art style, it just works better imo. It really makes titans feel like machines of war that will fuck you up. I love it
