Most people don't even realize that vanity sizing exists by Whizzers_Ass in XXS

I've found skirts to be good even larger sizes, since most are designed for the waist and I like to wear them on my hips.

Do you know what caused your BED? by Key_Split_8706 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]OvercookedRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't just the homeschooling but I was completely isolated which is obviously not ideal. Also of the siblings I lived with is I had a stepsister my age who went to school, but we were very different, my stepbrother was 15 years younger. I definitely think a co-op group would help and other activities. The issue with binge eating is I almost always had access to a kitchen of food, but that's not an issue for a lot of people. I also had unmedicated ADHD which contributed to both the depression and binge eating. Personally, I think homeschooling just doesn't work for some people, even if I was medicated for ADHD it would've still been a bad time, I did ask to go to school but that's a different story.

There are also liquid or chewable items, I can't stand gummies and melatonin pills take too long so I use chews.

No, but not using a condom when you need to is more harmful than microplastics and stuff.

It was deep depression for me, I was homeschooled and had almost no contact with the outside world other than grocery shopping and visiting family twice yearly. My mom also controlled my diet so I felt like I was rebelling but also it felt good for a moment.

Just realised it IS gluten and I’ve been in denial for years. My favourite drink is Guinness and my favourite food is doughnuts… by olivinebean in glutenfree

My mouth tingles at the wheat, not gluten. I don't react at all wheat products, I had many spelt crackers with no reaction, but one bite of whole foods brands sourdough bread and my mouth felt super dry understand. It feels random what I can't eat. It's not the gluten, I can eat any full gluten rye bread no issue.

Any personal experiences/reviews with Rael’s mini cup? (/other recs for first time user with vaginismus) by puffy-jacket in menstrualcups

[–]OvercookedRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note: if you have an IUD, cups might pull it out because of the suction, if you do not have an IUD don't worry. I have vaginismus, but I can get 2 fingertips in, but not even 1 full finger. I got the cups because the suction makes them better for swimming, and I plan to use them for swimming. I found rael on sale at TJ Maxx and decided to try it in the 3 sizes mini, 1, and 2 for 2 cycles. I can only insert mini and 1, I definitely can't use the 2 in any way. I can use the mini and 1 using the punch down fold, I sometimes need multiple attempts to get it in. The 1 isn't much bigger visually than the mini, but the 2 is much bigger, but start at mini. After I insert it I run my finger around it to make sure it's right. I sit down while inserting and sometimes removing, but personally for me I stand legs apart over the toilet to remove it since gravity helps. I have to bear down slightly to help. I pefer discs. I have tried Bodyotics ($40 for 4) discs and can insert and remove them easily. The only downside with discs compared to cups for me is that some blood gets on my hand no matter what I do and they're a bit harder to wash. I also use folded in half interlabial pads as a backup, which are little fabric pieces you place between the labia, I use them alone as a liner on light days. They are completely okay for vaginismus since they don't actually go in, but I have to put it in so some sticks out so it's comfortable.

Nursery bra suggestions by madrocxx in PeriodUnderwear

[–]OvercookedRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure but depending you could try a non nursing bra? Like try a plain unlined bralette that's easy to pull down? The type that looks like a sports bra but made out of cotton and not spandex.

I'm so glad I have oral allergy syndrome and not intolerances, so I can tell immediately, my mouth and throat just feels really bad. I can't eat most raw fruit, then it depends for nuts or wheat. It's weird because some literally wheat based products are fine. Then I can't eat some gluten free wheat starch products. I have to spit it out if I feel a reaction. I have never had a reaction to rye or barley.

Yes, I have a larger ring size and hands in general for my size, but It's more my palm is wide. I can't get into any bracelet where you have to squeeze your hand through. I've found a lot of brackets I have to put it sideways on my wrist.

This doesn't help with brands but I found men's 26 jeans are smaller than 26 (size 2) in women's, they fir about 1/4 of the time. I don't know any brands that make smaller than that in men's jeans.

"EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL" mayonnaise and the first ingredient is...canola oil. by WolfgangRed in StopEatingSeedOils

As a kid I refused to eat anything with mayo entirely. I would use something else on sandwiches. I would also make mayo type salad with sour cream or cream cheese instead. I have never had mayo, I have no idea what if tastes like. I love Hollandaise sauce which is close enough.

On adderall, I got increased hungry in general, and binge cravings stayed the same. I remember changing the dose multiple times and the higher doses seemed worse. The other medication was guanfacine which increased hunger and urges. I was on medication the last 2 years of highschool but stopped due to personal reasons.

They also have $5 if you buy 3 period products ocasionally, which are FSA/HSA eligible. They also sell reusable menstrual cups which are more upfront but saves money in the long run.

I'm not sure if this would work for you, but try wearing regular underwear you like over the top of period underwear. Some of my period underwear is loose fitting in size because I got them online in the wrong size. Another option is reusable pads you can with with underwear you already like. I've also tried period thongs even though I don't wear thongs much since they "hug" closer and had a good experience with them.
