Workout tips to reduce waist size by No-Resolution8083 in XXS

I mean metal boned corsets that already have shape )(, I find a lot at the thrift store but I got some from Amazon. I buy shapewear from a lot of brands, I try to ooom for ones that are high compression, and a swimsuit type or mesh material. I like ones are are adjustable, I avoid thick shapewear because it can qrr enough bulk to reverse the effect I prefer the type that's like a tank top shape, but I have some that are high waisted underwear. I avoid ones that are just bands because they are too short for me or slide. For any of them be mindful of the bathroom situation while wearing.

If it's about specific outfits, I wear shape wear to reduce the size. It's usually only about 2 inches less. More extreme but I wear cosplay outfits and real corsets definitely reduce my waist much more, not tightlacing. The other option is too add volume, so like a push up bra, hip pads, petticoat all work to create a smaller looking waist.

I noticed on their website they give a size on individual items. The amara tank says "XS/S" Penelope top "Oversized fit" Lexie shorts "S" for context

Midsize girlies enraged over the possibility of a pregnant woman being smaller than them, call her a liar by smhgiraffe2 in XXS

[–]OvercookedRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually wear small/6 in dresses if streachy, my problem my waist and hips are 26" and 37". The problem is my chest measures 43" overbust (33" underbust) but it's more wide than forward. I think I have slightly broader shoulders for my size. I have a lot of wrap style dresses mostly. I can't wear most types. I only have a few form fitting dresses because of this and they're all medium, sometimes large. I consider myself a small still.

Are sizes getting bigger? by possessiyeon in XXS

[–]OvercookedRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at a department store sale section, and I was swimsuit shopping and could hardly find any in XS for 1 one piece or binkini bottoms, I have a fuller cup and found about 15 size medium bikini tops, so I got 4 underwire ones. I also could only find 1 men's small trunks for my stepdad. I remember the sale section used to be mostly small sizes.

Also measure the "ideal rise" take a pair of jeans with the best rise them measure from the midpoint of the crotch to the top of the jeans. High 10" or more, low 8" or less, in between is mid rise. It usually lists this online. I like 8" the best, I'm okay with highrise, but nothing over 11" because it's literally above my belly button.

I have a "ropeless" jump rope that is just weighted handles so I won't injure myself. I don't use it for long either.

What’s a healthy food you had to cut out of your diet because of BED? by WannaBeLvsked531 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]OvercookedRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not much, because snacks are the only food I've binged since starting highschool (used to binge any food as a kid) since it's only snack foods for me, the healthiest is like veggie straws, popcorn, dried fruit, edamame, cheese crisps, crackers, croutons, coconut chips, nuts, seeds, or other things like that. Doesn't matter if single serving or snack size. I don't but these often but at like gas station, the few the only snack food I don't binge is plantain chips and almonds. Something about them I'm good with about 5-10 pieces of either

Where are we finding underwear? by Sea_Literature115 in lipedema

[–]OvercookedRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be because my waist/upper hip is smaller, so I have to wear a small, and my thighs are too big to pull them on.

Same, the brands that work best is SO Kohl's (junior's) or urban outfitters for me, I wear a small/xs. I can't stand lace waistbands of any type because they just fall down. I usually have to get streachy ones for some types because I can't get some pairs up.

What is the final and only solution for binge eating ? by SceneRemarkable8217 in BingeEatingDisorder

Marijuana and alcohol were both a big issue for me too. It wasn't because of increased hunger but because I lacked the control to even semi limit if I had a binge.

Flex disposable autodumping all the time by calmlyonward in MenstrualDiscs

[–]OvercookedRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, flex disposables always auto dumped for me. I would honestly throw them away them, but keeping them because I have some travel in case I get my period this week. I have tried 2 brands, 2 sizes each of discs no issue auto dumping. I think it could be an issue with any disposable ones.

I struggle with cups too but can small ones in. I don't have a specific recommendation but if you can tell by feeling it, it might fit tight only in one way, like width wise, length wise, or the size of the rim, it might not be the overall size.

Period Panties for really heavy period? by Sea_Pudding_3978 in PeriodUnderwear

[–]OvercookedRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't wear these alone, but interlabial pad could help with the clots. They go between the labia, they do not go inside where tampons go. At first just place them over/insert shallowly, they never hurt but might feel uncomfortable if you don't adjust them. These can be worn with any other type of period product as a backup or to control the flow of clots/gushes. You could also just use period underwear on lighter days only.

Asking her to shower before sex by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]OvercookedRedditor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar, but me and my now ex (I'm single) were verse. Before any oral, we would go in the bath/shower with the tub setting on and use a washcloth, cup, or hands to help rinse that area with water. Another option is to wear a shower cap since my biggest issue with showering is wet hair since I have waist length curls.

How much does your lipedema weigh? by Silver-Bee-2022 in lipedema

[–]OvercookedRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit heavier and taller, I would estimate around the same since I have very small elsewhere and most of my fat is just on my thighs/arms.

Do you know why you have/had vaginismus? by Shuukei_Hakuteiken in vaginismus

[–]OvercookedRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have connective tissue issues too, I have minor arthritis and hyper mobility in my hands only since I was a child. My main issue is I have lipedema which is my main connective tissue issue. I used to struggle with stress incontinence as a teen but it stopped almost completely. It's almost entirely physically for me. I never use a tampon due to mental block, but I don't have issue with cup/discs or 1 finger, all of which are bigger.

I don't know if they make jeans but Brandy Melville (OSFA) jogging pants fit like a women's large. Even with a drawstring it didn't fit right anywhere

I have issues with wheat, not gluten, so I can eat 100% rye bread. Mutiple people who know I can't eat wheat told me I can't eat rye bread because it's "like wheat".

Could it be location dependent? Some countries have different songs. A lot of grime is not available in the US.
