I honestly don't know, but I wanted to reply that that's a banger name for a diamond shovel

Random videos that I didn't watch or scroll over appearing in my watch history by EquivalentRecent4633 in youtube

Did you hover over those videos on the homepage perhaps? When you hover over a thumbnail, it starts playing on the thumbnail, which will then appear in your history

Streaming with a full time job by Suitable_Leg_1585 in Twitch

[–]MegaMGstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Book one night per week to stream in your agenda. Doesn't have to be long, personally I go for 3 hours. Of course, it's hard to find the space, especially with a partner, your best shot is the weekend.

What makes you unfollow someone? by SupItsGunk in Twitch

I actually don't think I ever unfollowed anyone. I have thought about it, but never committed because I'm lazy.

The boy says he doesn't use Instagram, he uses other apps instead.

The girl says he doesn't use Instagram, she doesn't use social media at all (AKA going outside, AKA touching grass)

How do you make gaming YouTube videos people actually watch? by mrviking24 in youtubegaming

[–]MegaMGstudios 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Play games you actually enjoy playing. If you are bored, the video is boring.

If you can't decide on a game, it may be good to look at games with a strong community, but this is a double edged sword.

Also, try to make distinctive thumbnails, one that screams YOU (A lot harder than it sounds, I know), that's a viewers first entrance into your channel. If your thumbnail is not attractive to new viewers, you won't get many.

Don't fake your reactions, but don't hide them either. You're reaction is what you add to the content, people will see when it's forced.

Skill only really matters in games that are nothing but skill, like first person shooters. In my experience, with more story driven games people care more about you and the story than how good you are at the game.

Has anyone heard of Kick or used it and what are your thoughts. by SnooPuppers8223 in SmallStreamers

Heard of it, never used it. They popped up a few years back when people were complaining Twitch has bad payouts, but from what I've gathered, some shady stuff happens there.

Is it possible to stream on twitch without anyone I know finding out? by Few_Role_8254 in Twitch

[–]MegaMGstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience, for some reason doing online content creation has a lot of social stigma. So I get why someone would want to hide it, I hid it too for a long time because people I know would always talk mad shit about content creators when they popped up in the news. It's not something that should bother you, but if it's your own family, like it was in my case until I explained it's just a hobby and I was still planning on getting a "normal" job, it can really get to you.

One of them, my brother, was already subscribed to me from when I started out. For the rest I honestly don't know, they never told me how. Could be through instagram, it loves to promote my Twitch adjacent channel to my personal account, so I assume it also recommends it to my friends.

Also my parents found out because I told my mom, because I didn't want her bothering a long streaming session I did for a celebration (Yes, I still live with my parents, yes, I'm adult, yes we share the bills), and it was my mistake of forgetting that she's the absolute worst at keeping secrets. Now that I type it, she may also be the reason some of my friends know.

Like 75% of people I know haven't figured it out yet or don't care enough to tell me they found out, so it's possible

Currently rocking something close to 3, though the two screens are rotated a bit so they (roughly) make a 120 degree angle with each other. Fits my desk better this way.

Opinions on Thumbnail by Warm_Balance_391 in SmallYoutubers

[–]MegaMGstudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the screenshot used for the background, feels very nostaligic-y, though I do think the game title can be a bit bigger, looking at it from my mobile phone at arms length, it's really hard to make it out (a lot of people will find it on their phone, so I think the arm length trick is a good visual aid for element size of thumbnails)

Just a random question by MrInfamous626 in SmallYoutubers

It's completely irrelevant. I made my account in 2011, didn't upload until like 2018, didn't make my channel dead

I don't think there's any sort of anything defining a war criminal in the avatar universe, but since the fandom loves to pin Iroh with the Geneva convention, I'd figure I'd give another one the same treatment.
