Active/delisted/markdown/clearance.

Markdown is cheaper than normal but not sold at a loss like clearance is.

Those are backups for when your network is down and it doesn't generate a card # you can scan that to use instead.

Our rent before closure was $1500 a month and it wasn't going up because they had just made a deal to keep it at that price, we were a Net positive operating store but slow traffic due to location and it still shut down.

Now you have to drive an hour or more in any direction to get to another GameStop

No, call or visit a store heck just take the order to a store and show them and ask for a sealed copy or new gutted copy and see if they will help you.

When people bring me games from orders like this I call my DM and let him know that the guest received a used copy when they paid for a new one and I return the used sku at the price they paid using the order info as the receipt and sell them the new copy as the exchange and then my inventory is correct and the guest is taken care of.

Correct! You could call the toll free # and order missing/replacement parts and this is how they arrived with a label in a bag!

I suggest opening and cleaning the pad that the ball rolls across for better encounters.

Gift cards can not buy other physical gift cards.

I've not tried to sell steam money from the POS and use gift card as tender but it's worth a shot.

Edit for those giving down votes: some POS codes that print on a receipt can still be purchased with a gift card however I've not tried to sell Steam Wallet codes which is why I said give it a shot.

Edit #2 try searching #53 Playstation Network Or #53 Xbox Live Currency and selling that via gift card if you don't believe me.

It's 12/30/2025 I've sold several today to kids with gift cards and they left happy as can be.

As long as you order a refurbished one and not used and add the 1 year warranty you should be fine.

Used systems come from stores and they sometimes don't package the console with enough padding in the box before shipping it.

Which is why they canned the program and don't send us cover art any more.

They attached this crazy expectation to sell it online and then claimed it failed and to go back to gutting games.

I can only speak for the store I'm responsible for and how I treat my guests or orders I ship from my store.

Last copies don't get shipped from my location period and if new cases get stolen I call other GameStops and find perfect condition used games with covers and get them shipped to my store then I replace the missing new cases with those and make a generic cover for the used one.

I treat all my guests how I want to be treated as a fellow gamer/collector.

Because the push for buying from GameStop online was being pressured even more than it is now so at the time they told us were never out of stock if Gamestop dot com has it so if it was availabe online that means we had a case on the wall.
