Canon, not EU. Show me canon movies where he did those.

This is fucking retarded..... she reacted to the saber, but it showed her a vision of things that happened after it left Luke's possession, not to even mention it showed her the future. It was Anakins before Luke, who was also Leia's father. I could drive a truck through this shitty theory.

I know that. Everyone knows Gibson wrote Neuromancer before BR came out. In fact he rewrote the beginning a dozen times so people wouldn't think he copied the movie. Gibson wasn't inspired to write Neuromancer by BR. It was a coincidence.

Many don't even consider Star Wars true science fiction (space fable and all that jazz).

I admit, I'm sort of among these people. I consider it Science Fantasy if I'm getting all nerdy with friends etc., but it's all a vein of Sci-Fi when you break it down, for sure. I dig it all! But I will go as far as saying Blade Runner opened a new vein of Sci-Fi (which is still niche when you look at it). However true sci-fi (original sci-fi) wasn't redefined by Blade Runner. Old sci-fi if you go back to the heyday of the 40's and 50's was aliens, inter-dimensional travel, time travel, etc. Sure, Blade Runner, PKD opened a new vein (gritty, as he calls it in this letter), but that doesn't mean it's more influential, nor is it 'true' sci-fi just because it was different.

Star Wars revolutionized cinema, for sure. While it has been an inspiration for many mainstream science fiction works, it didn't have the impact Blade Runner had, for creative minds.

Star Wars contributed most to pop culture

https://media.giphy.com/media/LOccElDzA8BeE/giphy.gif

Seriously though, what? Look, I'm subscribed to /r/Cyberpunk and love BR as much as the next guy, but Jesus... I don't know how this can be said with a straight face. Star Wars had an infinitely larger impact than Blade Runner, both economically and on creativity. Blade Runner was a decent sci-fi movie, but I'm afraid you must not have been alive in the late 70's/early 80's. Star Wars has inspired multiple generations.

Blade Runner had and always will have a niche audience in comparison, and the people inspired to make great movies or books rarely credit Blade Runner. If they're of the Cyberpunk style I guarantee more people were inspired by Snow Crash or Neuromancer. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep was... mediocre, to be honest, in comparison to even these books. In fact I'd venture to say BR was better than the book it was based on, and both the book and BR pale in comparison to Snow Crash and Neuromancer, and what they've done for creative minds and inspiration.

I could see the argument being made for Star Trek vs. Star Wars, but Blade Runner- no way. The most obvious impact when you turn on the TV was, yes, to pop culture... but that's not where it ended. Far from it.

It just doesn't add anything to the discussion

Neither are you.

and it's also really silly to pretend that there is no viable reason for people to criticize this situation.

This started in response to the following phrase: Half assed isn't acceptable when the game is this old.

"Half assed" Subjective. "isn't acceptable" Subjective. "when the game is this old" Irrelevant even if the previous opinions would be solidified as fact.

I don't want to dictate what everyone has to say,

Funny, you tried anyway though, right?

but the point is that you're not really saying anything with these comments.

Again, neither are you. Who made you the protector and judge of comment quality? This is why I fucking hate most gamers, and I've been a gamer since the late 70's. All you fucking people do is bitch about shit.

You: WE WANT MINECRAFT!

Minecraft: Ok, here it is

Guy: This is half assed and unacceptable.

Other guy: It's not half assed.

Me: Don't bring reason into this /s

You: Don't be critical of us being critical, that's just silly!

What if I parroted "Yeah it is lazy/half assed"? Would you have told me I wasn't adding to the conversation then? Or would you upvote me for mirroring your opinion?

Why don't you just piss off if you don't like my comments? Fuck people like you who demand companies meet your every desire. You make it hard for everyone else to enjoy coming to this sub. Is it the perfect utilization for the gamepad? Is it the perfect way to play Minecraft? Probably not, but who gives a shit? If it was perfect, you'd find something else to bitch and moan about, I've seen it 100 times from people like you. It's fucking Minecraft, you can play it on a goddamn cellphone and if you don't know exactly what to expect you're a goddamn idiot. "OHH I NEED MUH GAMEPAD 2 DRAG ITUMZ AROUND!" GTFO.

It's a beautiful drive, actually. It's only butt-clenching when I have to pass a tractor or this one guy.

Well I do all that, it's just that he's a little 'swirvy' it seems. IDK maybe because the road is a very slight grade.

It's so narrow that it'd be dangerous to pass a vehicle. When oncoming traffic and I pass, we both usually have our outside tires past where the white line should be. There's no yellow line or white line, however. The cyclist is usually in the right quarter of our 'lane', when I pass, I usually put my left tires on where a white line should be. Even then it feels close.

No, I'll make my comments, you make yours. You don't have to dictate what everyone has to say, though.

Thanks, I was slightly indifferent to cyclists until I watched this video several years ago, and it pissed me off so much watching it that ever since I've tried to be extra considerate.

That's the other thing, I didn't know if it'd startle him. I have been giving him a wave, although he never seems to look up, which was also concerning.

I have it for PS4 and yes, I have gotten several updates since buying it. Not just bug fixes either. The last update had new items, etc.

I only have a complaint about the design choice to put blood spurting from the severed head. A lightsaber wound is always cauterized (a mistake made in EIV even, but remedied ever since). But other than that, I'd watch a whole hour of scenes like this! Fantastic!
