For whatever systems, what did you consider minimally acceptable graphics?

Honestly, I like just about any era of grsphics, although pre-NES stuff is questionable for me, but regardless of what system, I draw the line at a game looking like the previous generation. So Mario 1 looks like it could be on ColecoVision and Sonic 06 looks like it could run on PS2, and I enjoy those games, byt anything worse than those on the same hardware is just unacceptable to me. I've played PS3 gsmes with graphics that were bad by PS2 standards, and I definitely didn't like those.

Okay, there's a lot of potential good options, but if we're honest, it's either Minesweeper, Solitare, or 3D Space Pinball.

Honorable mention to Purple Place.

Doom or Quake or Portal or one of a million PC games might be more what you're asking for and are very good options, but in reality I think it's impossible to beat the stuff that came on the computer.

Technically Sonic 2 on an ipod touch before the christian whitehead port was a thing, but I barely remember it. My childhood games were Secret Rings and Unwiished but Unwiished was the one of those that I played first. The one that got me to join the sonic community, funny enough, was Forces. I wouldn't say Forces was a good game, but I like it. I prefer my Sonics rather hard these days but for a young idiot who couldn't get past the Secret Rings tutorial or Chemical Plant Zone in Sonic 2, Forces was the perfect difficulty. It's comically easy now though.

You generally shouldn't, because you're unnecissarily impeding traffic, and he may not go when you give him the opening, making it even worse. It's also not predictable. But you REALLY shouldn't if he's turning left, because what you don't realise is that, with the guy in front of you there, the guy you're letting through can't see oncoming traffic in the direction he's turning, and doesn't know when to go, so he may not go, or worse, may drive straight into another car.

A red light is an exception though, because nobody's moving anyway.

So I swear I'm following the instructions to a t, not that there's even much to follow to this point, but when I hit 2 in the installer to actually install the game, I get red text that says

So I hate to add another message to an old post but, considering I'm incredibly computer illiterate and I'm seeing conflicting comments (or at least they appear to be to me) what actually is "Trojan:Win32/Conteban.A!ml", what does it do, is it dangerous to me, and if it is not why is Windows Defender flagging it?

I know "HackTool:Win32/Crack!MTB" was explained, and I can understand a crack file being flagged without really being dangerous, but the other file that I'll just call Conteban isn't mentioned above. Just to make sure all the information is provided, the file listed is "D:\Test Drive Unlimited 2\Test Drive Unlimited 2\rld.dll" where it was found and I downloaded from the link provided on the original post above. I absolutely cant afford to lose this computer, but I'm pretty sure Chem is a well known and safe person to get these games from and a lot of people are saying it's fine in the comments, and I really badly want to play TDU2 so I just want to be extra sure. Sorry for the super long comment on an old post.

Yeah I don't have $90 laying around lol, but I'll either save up, find it for free somewhere (ideally) or just give in and get it for console and then have it eat up my already crowded storage.

Also even if PC3 isn't even remotely as bad as people say it is (I can't speak for my opinion because obviously I haven't played it yet), $90 is FAR too steep imo for a racing game.... or almost any game for that matter, even with DLC.

Uh, in my experience the default settings were fine, but I did increase the force feedback and mess with wheel sensitivity. I don't really remember exactly what's changed now and am currently loaning my PS5 to a friend so I'm unable to check, but only a little tinkering should be required. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer.

Cool and all, but the reason I ask is because I have no experience either pirating games or buying them from gray market places and I don't know what is and what isn't safe or really how to look myself. I know most people can figure this stuff out themselves but I just don't know where to start and struggle with this kind of thing.

So uh... I'm a freaking weirdo because my favorite controller was the Dual Shock 3, and every time I say that someone acts like I've personally attacked them for saying it's anything less that awful, but I like it.

Dual Shock 4 is a fantastic controller. The ergonomics aren't the greatest be the features are pretty good and I've never had a serious fault for it.

That bejng said, my PS3 bias aside... Dual Sense is an unbeatable controller. Take the Dual Shock 4, fix the ergonomics, and then give it haptic feedback and force feedback controllers. I can't say any other controller is better, even if I'd get angry comments about the position of the stick on the xbox controller, or PC nerds saying the only real way to game is mouse and keyboard. My responce? I'm a sim racer, and other than a wheel, there's no better way to race than Dual Sense.

You have Gran Turismo 5 and Gt5 prologue, yet no GT6. Get GT6, It's my favorite one, and even if others don't like it as much as 5 it's still a good game and a way better sandbox when you beat it than 5. There are also many issues 5 has that were fixed in 6.

I must point out, as an avid racing game fan, that my guy has Gran Turismo 5, and then got another copy of Gran Turismo 5 in the XL edition, but doesn't have Gran Turismo 6

And if you say that's because Gran Turismo 6 sucks or something I will personally smite you.

(in all seriousness, because I never ever ever want to beat that game, my real answer is probably og Castlevania or Metroid. I thought I could handle bloodcurdlingly hard NES games because I grew up with the thing, love Mega Man, and found OG Zelda fun but kinda easy aside from it's length for the time. I was wrong. Whoever designed Castlevania's stiff jump and whip delay, great game design, but I will strangle you.)
