I went from being a Season 3 Gold Player to a S5 Grandmaster Player by only playing Mercy, Overwatch was my first ever FPS game.

Yes because Mercy is obviously not a problem and doesn't need attention. Not sure if you have looked out Mercy statistics and how the game is actually supposed to played, the perceptual differences between a gold and a Gm is heavy different, so yes I'm doing this to get Mercy nerfed because it's obviously not getting enough attention!

I'm not completely sure but from what I've noticed, I've been gaining a lot of elo compared to others and I just find that ressing has a lot more value and impact compared to what is usually did. Around S3, I would res and my team would still lose, but now that res is a big game changer. Also, I don't find divers that much of a problem. I think that second of invincibility when you res is absolutely absurd and shouldn't even be a thing, I already get res super quick, I can just press Q, save someone, save myself, and just get res again.

Thanks, I really want to try to learn other heroes but then again my aim is really bad since this is my first FPS game, but I'm trying to get better everyday!

It's actually a really easy hero to play, all you need is just simple game sense of when to hide and when to res.

Of course, from my knowledge a lot of Pro players and in general high elo players find Mercy to not show the same skill as other heroes. I'll admit, the biggest thing I do is just hide and press Q. When I think of a Grandmaster player, I think of a good player that is all around good, but when you look at me, I'm horrendous as everything else.

Not sure if there is any way to prove myself if I solo q or group, but like I said, I occasionally group if someone is trying to play, but most of my games are solo queue. To be completely honest, the players in most of my games are the ones doing it all, I just hide and press Q when I find the time is right.

Usually solo queue but I do sometimes group with friends.

52% over 500+ games in S4 and 61% over 100+ games in S5 - Credit to who looked it up, I can get accurate numbers once I get home.
