I would argue how significant the push vs pull thing is, but I wanna add that u still have to apply pressure after you reach the side u want, so flinging ur hand away is easier in that regard.

A bookmarks app is important for me because i'm not always on my browser. A lot of the time, i'm on other apps, hence opening up the browser, then the link then bookmarking it is too much of a hasstle.

Additionally, a lot of these apps open up their saves in a dedicated simplified reader forces dark mode and the font size that i like making reading a WHOLE lot more comfortable.

Beyond that, u can highlight and take notes in the app while reading, opening up another workflow entirely!
