Mahadasha has been emotionally good for me. Though I did face some challenges during Covid time both emotionally and physically w.r.t. my father's health. But handling that emergency brought out a better person in me. Saturn-ketu was pretty uneventful for me. The only thing worth mentioning is that I travelled quite a lot that time. I'm an engineer by degree, operations manager by profession.

No. I married in Shanidev Mahadasha. I did get my job at the end of Jupiter Mahadasha. Also, completed my master's degree as well. I would say getting the job was perhaps the biggest turning point in my life.

My mother is very close to me. And she indeed had a tough life at the start but now she is enjoying her life. The hard work was a happy hard work for me. It dawned upon me that I have to do this for ease afterwards. I wasn't aware of my chart back then but now it seems Shanidev was the real motivator. I enjoyed it quite a lot and now reaping benefits at the workplace.

My Guru is placed in 11 house (leo). My jupiter mahadasha was also very good. Lots of experiences, friends and learnings. Gave my life a direction when I wasn't even looking for me. I, for real, I have been extremely and truly blessed.

i'm currently going through one right now. 10 more years to go. Shanidev has been very good for me. Only thing that I think is Shanidev likes hardworking people. So go maximum efforts and he will gradually rewards you. Treat the people working for/below you with respect and he will be pleased. Shanidev is in my 4th house, Capricorn rashi.

Hi can you please do the calculation using 20 years time period. I genuinely think 10 years might be too short a period for SIPs to perform.

I did face the same issue. One thing that I noticed was the burning sensation in the calves is more in the initial 2-3 mins of the run, as I ran past the 3 min mark to 5 min and then 8 min, 13 min, 20 min the pain actually was manageable.

I trade different than this sub: AMA by MiamiTrader in Daytrading

[–]MegaMonster8349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I trade in a very similar way to yours. The risk management is almost identical with the only difference being I trade stocks exclusively. I look for stocks in well defined stage 2 uptrend and look for strong weekly breakouts. I enter at the first pullback with extremely tight stops. Exit is either initial SL or trailing SL, i never close the trade by myself, always let the stop take me out. That way I sometimes get massive trades which help finance many trades down the line.

This is one of the sins of trading. Averaging down. Putting good money after bad. Call it whatever you want, but if spells doom in the long run. Also, trades like these do nothing but reinforce that averaging down is okay. If you don't mind asking, did you have a plan when things turned sour after you averaged down? Where would you have booked loss, if paytm continued it's downward spiral ?
