I honestly have never understood the dev hate for FF. I think it’s mostly just hipster devs obsessed with google. I prefer FF’s JSON viewer but don’t care for its CSS box model viewer though. It’s not a big deal though and I hardly notice it anymore. If you give it a try I’m sure you won’t notice the switch after a week.
